why am I here-why are you??? what difference does it make why I come here-I'm just looking for info so maybe my son & sister might go the e cig way to quit after all according to most here its a pretty painless way to quit smoking which sounds too good to be true but as long as they quit is all that matters.

I am here because I am accepted. I have no issue with e-cigs. I have received information that will help my mom and I don't need to run back to the Q board and call them all trolls and poll everyone as to why they are here and if they are going to take over the universe. I don't play one against the other and am respectful. I am still respectful of most everyone on the Qboard as well with the exception of a few. Hypocrisy, for me, is a deal breaker for my friendship and I have put on foe the people I don't wish to hear rant and rave. I am here because it is a haven from there and I have some good friends. That answer your question?

It seems the QSMB e-cig forum is getting taken over by non e-cig people in some respects. I'm glad I got away for a while.. now, I go back and read and I freak out cus all the hate followed us into the e-cig forum.. that was not supposed to happen. Yeah, I freaked out last night on em for chasing Bunny away.. I had to get it off my chest.. and that was only after 7 pages.. I never did finish reading the thread.

John, remember Nate or the poster formerly know as Fondude or any number of other people warning about that? It's a bloody mess now, the bitterness just won't die. Unless, as suggested a long time ago, "we" let QSMB die on its own. And it will. Not soon enough but it will indeed.

And we could help that by posting more with "quit smoking" in it and linking it to external sites to trigger time-sensitive SEO optimization. And based on the Alexa information, that would work really well for ECF's traffic pattern. -Magnus

Yeah, that floats my boat. To be honest. I dont' give a ..... what floats my mom's doctor's boat. I am not going to bury my mom without at least having tried. Well thats nice & special-its too bad that some feel they're not liked or wanted on the Q board. It is what it is with that site-thats why some stay & some leave.

Wow maybe if you keep saying it enough then anyone using other nrt stuff will run & buy an E cig & see the lite that this is ONLY really quit method they need. It's not the part where you said it. Or said it again. Or maybe the third time.

It's the part that makes it clear you're ~still~ resentful and that colors all your other input. Think about this for a moment.. or let me use myself as an example.

I have been twice diagnosed as borderline Asperger's. As outgoing as I seem here and as quick as I am to be disruptive or jokey, it's actually all quite calculated. It's not natural. It's all a complex formulation in my head based on readings, observations, etc. that tell me how best I can fit in to a larger group. How best I can diminish my fears.

For years I used to resent other funny people or "gentlemen"... it was easy for them. That resentment colored my treatment of those I was envious of. Colored my receptiveness to their opinions or lifestyles. It effected so much of how I "accepted" other people that it became an isolating factor.

You're doing that here at ECF with the way you talk. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm exposing my own insecurities to try to explain why you seem... seem so ~wrong~ so much of the time. It's not because of the opinions so much as the opinions are being colored and seasoned with resentment of the past. Repeatedly. -Magnus

Anyways - I am going to apologize for what I feel is passive aggressive behaviour this evening. I am usually good at just voicing my opinion in a respectful win-win situation. It's why I became a social worker - I am not bragging but I am good at it. Tonight has not been a good night for me and I have stepped over some lines I wouldn't normally.

Beth, I am sorry you have had such a hard time quitting. I wish that you would see how many of the people here actually envy you as much as I think you envy them. You are 10 months quit and it had nothing to do with being ragged on - that was you. Plain and simple. No one can tell you to quit. A doctor didn't do it, you did. I think someday you will see that you have done something amazing. It ain't an easy thing - in fact if I wasn't chatting right now I think I might have gone next door and bummed a smoke. You have knowledge now that you didn't and really, you are rocking your quit but you know now that IF something pushed you back there you have an alternate route and don't have to go back to 7000+ chemicals.

Anyway an outlet is obviously what I needed next time I just take CB in a chat room and let her beat me with her bullwhip!!!

Boy I guess once you quit smoking you're to tuck tail & just run away-after all as they say you quit why hang around & with the snide attitudes I get I figure why promote any quit method-after all I found my way free so can the next guy. Thats pretty crappy implying I'm a secret smoker-if I was smoking why would I need or visit any quit site-thats kinda lame don't you think. Oh thats right thats my mission in life to stir the pot on quit sites-thats so stupid of a concept & believe me if I really wanted to start stuff it would be meaner & nasty then how I post now.

Thanks that was nice-I just like reading stuff on these boards cause all 3 sites are different in the types of people it attracts-I try not to get rude or mean except when I feel I'm being judged or pushed into a corner. Yes thats the one good thing about the e cig-except for all the work involved in getting it ready to smoke its a backup choice instead of real smokes which is nice to know.

Good to know, have a stack of carts and a couple attys I was planning to play with. I've seen a lot of post from you in various cart mod threads, so if it's your favorite I'll have to at least give it a try.

IS he maybe one of those whio is "missing something?" Maybe he needs to try snus or Orbs as a suppliment. No matter the flavor or strength of the e-cig, my husband didn't find them completely satisfying until he got the snus.

Do you by chance know if the camel orbs, sticks or strips are even available at all anymore? Haven't been able to track them down at all. I have found sources online for stonewall and arriva, haven't tried them yet, but intend to when I get the money together. Cigarx is still out there as well, not sure about that one, but maybe at some point. But havee found no references to the camel products other than snus more recent than 2008.

Oh, and my god, what did I miss while I was working today, going to take forever to catch up again.

I don't understand something-with all the reading I've done it sounds like alot of work to "smoke"-it can't be that hard is it-can't you just put the parts together & inhale,all this filling cartridges or whatever sounds like alot of work.

and for the record you have been really nasty from day one to us so yeah I could easily believe it's your mission to make everyone as unhappy as you appear to be.

It can be plug-and-play from disposable units like the Square Red all the way to complex manual drip or feeder systems that require delicate maintenance. It's all about how much you want to invest for your exactly desired experience. -Magnus
