It makes me wonder if the ecig subforum, after a certain period of time in disuse, will be deleted..... If there is nobody from here that helps maintain the forum (and I'm certainly not going to go ninja with a diff username) eventually the posts will stagnate.
It would be to the purists best interests if the back and forth was just deleted, out of sight, out of mind and all. I really, truly believe we were posting info, by and large, of good substance.
It wasn't terribly difficult to keep ones composure if you realized the baiting by the few members that wandered into the ecig subforum just for that purpose.
I guess this could be construed as the "final impasse". Roly has his priorities, bigger fish to fry and all that. While I am somewhat disappointed that the final result is staying away (was having a decent time most days at Q) and that there will be no "ECF barrage", I realize this just isn't realistic, or even a good idea.
Any of you feel like you were just scolded by one of your parents because the neighbor kids were being snarky? It's just not right.... just like many aspects of everyday life. You learn and move on. In the end, you still believe in yourself and what you stood up for, and I don't have any regrets about my behavior. Many times in the past my temper has gotten the better of me, and I'm grateful I had the fortitude to not succumb.
As they say in England: TRUTH WILL OUT! Can't *wait* to see how all of this turns out in the real world!

How about this:
If all of the useful threads drop below all the garbage that was dumped in there, I personally would rather it was all deleted.
At that point it would be doing more harm than good, which is what I expect, and the reason I'm so ...... off about it.

I'll be doing that tomorrow...I'm so disgusted I may be doing it with a cellphone cam....just to have continuous sidewalk to door coverage.....I swear...he/she goes to my mailbox and doesn't knock on the door/ring doorbell and a mailperson will be getting fired!!! and I have video of it this morning...I have a vid security system with a camera in my front porch as well as driveway I have video of him walking up my driveway and not one foot on my front porch so yea I'm mad...
I'm stalking, but my mailbox is around a couple corners in my section of the neighborhood. My new Sapphires should be here today, along with an adapter to use them on my 808s. <crosses fingers>
ETA: They're here! Work great on my 808 batteries, not so much on 808 passthru (too hot). Now I need some Volt autos and I'll be a happy camper!

I guess I'd like to add to my previous reply with a couple more thoughts about this...
The electronic cigarette subforum over there WAS starting to stagnate, as I figured it would eventually.
Stephanie was starting to give us some slack, and Katiem was posting her somewhat infrequent praises for the Nicodemon.
The Katiem postings were not overly disruptive, and peace was starting to happen in spite of her.
Her posts could have been lived with.
We were starting to be somewhat left alone, and I was making sure useful threads didn't sink too far down.
But then came Electricman, who I think is a Big Pharma or Carr/Polito shill.
Or maybe he is just one of THEM and decided to take the reins.
Make no mistake about it, Electricman has gotten his way.
If you're reading this, ......., you won.
I hope you're proud of what you've done.
And I suspect you are, which turns my stomach big time.

It wasn't the greatest birthday, I've been having some hassles with the .gov here regarding my mother-in-law's affairs, which I won't go into, save to say that they are being a total PITA, as is normal with the .gov. I'm hoping common sense will prevail, but that can't be relied upon when dealing with such people.

No, what I got was that their board is over run by people that are over spoken. Had they did their thing in their section, we wouldnt have had any issues. But lack of mods, and an insane need to show their ...., proved that its a dirty playground.
Now, when new ppl stumble in, they will either get culted into the CT, or maybe venture over and read the subforum. Seeing what went on would most likely drive most people away, and they will search for a new board. These people went as far as to steal MY IDENTITY.....GIMME A BREAK!
I dont denounce CT, I just admit the facts that it only works for a very small margin of people. And I refuse to feel guilty for leaving/getting banned. I/we went in with goodwill, and were constantly stepped on. So as far as these new people, their blood isnt on OUR hands, its on the Q's. We put forth good effort, and every facet of it. But we werent permitted a shot at "saving others"...and that was NOT of our making. I still continue to save others at will, just not on their board. They deserve no credit for the "assists", because they didnt give any. We were given a subforum, and it was immediately trampled on over and over, with no recourse, thanks to fred.
But as I stated before, it was not of our making, so we need not carry any guilt for its loss. We can say we tried, and just move on to greener pastures. It is freds board, and he allows everything that has/ will continue to take place. So until he decides to sip on a nice warm cup of "MAN UP", his children will continue to act like children. And until that happens, its a horrible board that I wouldnt want to even be caught dead associating in.
