That doesn't interfere with conductivity? Is that even the right word?

It's neutral, repels water, and apparently during tightening ends up creating a nice conductive lubricant from parts of metal grindings into it. Like solder flux paste is made in the first place. It's recommended in a ton of marine applications too. Some people on ECF recommend it for mods but I stay away from that like I do Noalox for cleanliness. -Magnus
