Buzz Pro. Better battery life and availability. The two are just not that much different in size. I've got nothing but good things to say about this company. You will love being able to adjust your vape.

Hey sc, thanks for your input! :)

I understand better availability, since the Infinity hasn't been released yet. Why better battery life? The specs say they both have 15 hours per charge, although the Buzz uses bigger batteries so I understand why it would have better battery life. Why don't the specs reflect that, are they being optimistic on the Infinity?

You'd be surprised over the difference 3/8 of an inch diameter can make in a small hand. It could be the difference between all day use and occasional use. Pretty much the only time I put my pv down is when I'm typing. The difference between an eGo and a GoGo to me is huge. If the size specs on the notcigs site are correct, I think the infinity pro is closer to the diameter of a 650 mah eGo and the Buzz is even bigger round than the GoGo.

If there is a compelling difference between how the two perform I'd be willing to give the Buzz a try, but battery life isn't as big a deal for me as it might be for others since I work from home and I could switch them out no problem.

I'm sorry  I meant the batteries were more widely available. Good choice either way.

as for car batteries...I carry a box of baking soda in the car(at this point a minivan)baking soda and water works wonders to remove corrosion...just be careful if your battery isn't a sealed type...as to stopping the corrosion from happening vasaline or lithium grease...I have the lithium grease handy as it doubles as an anti corrosion /sealant for the lights and such.also works to keep the window regulators lubed so they don't break and easier than digging around inside the door panels to reach them...

As for Buzz I don't want to nor will I ever speak of him again publicly on this foum all I will say is I will not buy nor endorse his products......if someone wants my opinion it can be asked privately in PM I am not going to be the reason the mods close this thread...

Seriously tho people Nate is right We dont need to open that can of worms here...

On the mod train of thought... I just put in a pre order for an Infinity Pro. Anyone have any thoughts on them? Any reason why I would want a Buzz Pro over the Infinity Pro? I like the Infinity for it's slim size. I'm thinking I'll start with this as my vv and make my way to a bottom feeder later, maybe a Rio mini or something along those lines.

I had an infinity and hope you didn't order it yet.
Send me a pm or get in touch and I'll tell you why.
C.B.

Oh, of course! This thread has a profusion of Leading Experts right here!

Where is my head?

I posted my tale of woe, and MustangSallie was kind enough to reply that I was barking up the wrong tree, to spare you the clickage, the condensed question is this:

Is there such a thing as a cigarette-shaped wireless that will use KR808d-1 cartomizers and provides 5 electricity globules (volt flavor)?

It appears that after 90 days of near continuous plugged-into-the-wall puffing, my beautiful little wireless KR808d1s are simply not providing the level of "throat hit" I require, and although I only go to the doctor and drugstore, as doctor visits become more time-consuming, I find that I am increasingly in need of an alternative to taking an extension cord along in my purse, and plugging myself into the outlet usually used by the EKG machine.

Hey lolady, Hopefully the experts will chime in shortly, but in the meantime whatever 5v you end up with you can probably find an adapter that will allow you to use your 808 cartos on it. Since they work on your 5v passthrough, I would assume they would also work on a 5v pv with the adapter.

I'm afraid no such device exists, lolady. There are certainly mods that can provide 5v "wirelessly", but they are quite a bit larger than an analog.

Hey Nate, lolady was looking at the iGo which I think is already bigger than an 808. It looks to me though that the iGo is probably 3.7 volts, but I couldn't find anything that said for sure. I am fairly certain however that it isn't 5v.

As far as I know, there aren't any 5volt cigarette-sized batteries. Short of a custom mod, the closest thing I can think of might be the variable voltage eGo ( GV eGo 650mah Variable Voltage 3Stage 510 Battery Kit STAINLESS [gv-egoVariableBATTERY-510KIT-STL] - $69.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more )...but if you have not stepped into the world of custom mods, I bet a lot of people would love to help you find a mod that suits your needs. :D

You're right. By cigarette shaped I assumed that meant size as well.

I know the Xhaler (also from nhaler.com) can do 5v, but that's a bit larger than the iGo. Honestly don't know much about the iGo and the nhaler site isn't very detailed. This post by Drew gives me reason to hope though. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/nhaler/177048-attention-kr808-lovers-tank-lovers-new-products-you-here-igo-2.html#post2973371

Thank you all so much! I should have come right here first!

My "pass through" is of the KR808d-1 tribe and doesn't need an adapter.

Yes, size matters, and weight. The KR808d-1 wireless ones get heavy after a short time, and as MustangSallie has noted, the cigarette diameter is more comfortable for small hands, my glove size is 6 and a half. Or was, back when gloves had sizes, and were, um, worn.

I bet a lot of people would love to help you find a mod that suits your needs.

Where might I find these people? And discover whether an appropriate honorarium would be a glove-like fit for my budget, such as it is, especially since I have now been selected to help a cluster of fine Shamans and pharmaceutical company executives purchase villas in Tuscany. (Hence the longer duration of visits to their tents)

I think the wireless ones I have now may be 4.2 freshly charged, it seems like I saw that somewhere in the V4L section, but even freshly charged is just not the same as my electric hookah-doodle.

I hope I don't have to try to do it with cobbled together juice...

There is this at Nhaler, but I don't really understand how it works: The Magnum Kit

It is of the "510" tribe. I'm too poor and too sedated to try to keep track of two different flavors.

I'm not sure you will be able to find exactly what you're looking for lolady, especially given the weight requirements which I had forgotten about. :( I am wondering if maybe a higher pg ratio in your juice might give you the th you need to compensate for the lower voltage of your wireless 808s. Not really sure about that, th isn't actually a requirement for me so I don't chase it. Of course, the bright side is the e-cigarette industry seems to be moving rather fast right now so if not today perhaps tomorrow?
