1 if it tastes like PBJ then yes I would like it...

2 mmmm crumb cake...

3 Oh it does go to the OP topic every so often...just the frequency has gone wayy down...a victim of the circumstances and a wish of people to avoid becoming persona non grata...also one of the important bits of glue is avoiding this thread and having health problems... last I heard...I hope he gets better...he seems to have a poorer outlook on it than I do tho...

Are we talking about Mr. Phoenix? I suppose if the name is supposed to be on the down low, then by all means, refuse to answer. Whoever it is, I hope he gets better. Everyone contributing here is a good egg, from my perspective. I'm not going to run through months and pages of posts that I missed. I don't even want to go through 10 pages if I miss a good day. ha ha!

Oh, and on your primary subject. I think I'll give snicker doodle a try, now that I've got my new E Go - T. I found it to be alright, but not extremely impressive. Could have just been a bad case of not so great vape, and crappy Njoy cartos burning too fast. The design really sucks, with the coil being so closely wrapped in burnable materials. Everything started to taste burnt shortly after starting a new one. Even when kept wet. They still got black marks, and burn holes.

The bit of glue Madman was talking about would not be Mr Phoenix. I won't say who because it's not my place. However, he does seem to be on the mend but I doubt he will join us back here. Since he does seem to be a magnet, not sure I would say a bit of glue, this thread will probably stay as is. Low post count and largely dead. Occasionally those of us who were here throughout the duration return to say a quick hello to others we became friendly with.

I signed the petition, but I signed it before it was even posted here. I don't agree with all the wording either, but I agree with the point that if 5000 people sign it someone in the current administration will look at it. I don't feel like I've signed my life away, and I don't feel like I've just authorized the white house to spend even more money frivolously. Any petition that's taken seriously will have to get worked into some kind of bill, and that bill will have to get passed by the legislature. That process could take months of not years and the current administration might not even be the administration in power by the time any of this comes to pass. Let's at least get someone somewhere looking at e-cigs as the valuable tool that they are, not just a tax and spend vehicle. That's why I signed it. Maybe I am foolish and naive. It wouldn't be the first time I've been accused of it and it likely won't be the last. That's okay, I can take it. :)

Brilliant deduction Sallie...I will leave the "magnet" unmentioned as I do not think he wants any more attention than he has already had...and I'm sure he knows we wish him well... he IS one of the few I deem beyond a shadow of a doubt a good man in deed and heart...a distinction I do not give lightly...anyone who agrees with me already knows of whom I speak...

...and yes I'm sorry to say you may be right about the fate of this thread...well it was fun while it lasted...I hope the consistent denizens of this thread will keep an eye on it and vow to at least keep the dream alive as it was stared with only the best of intentions and I believe the majority of the posters in this thread made effort to "make a difference in our little worlds...I know I still do...

Hi Folks

I still drop in every day and checkout what's happening, which as we all realise, hasn't been much recently. I haven't posted much for a while because I honestly haven't had much to say, but for anybody who cares, things are going well enough here Down Under.

QSMB is just dead, I haven't even dropped in to read there for a while, not much fun anyway since they gagged me. (And made me gag!)

Both my wife and I are still off the tobacco, over 6 months now, although both suffering from horrible flu. I'm nearly over it but she's just about peaking, going through a box of tissues a day. The cheap glasses I ordered from China arrived and are great, ordered two more pairs!

I hope everybody else is doing okay too. (I'm a little worried by lolady, who doesn't seem to have posted anywhere for a month. I do hope she's just resting.)

I'll keep checking in and posting if I can add anything to what's being discussed.

Best wishes to you all.

Hi Hobo, I was just thinking of you the other day. I'm so glad you dropped by. Sorry to hear you were sick and that your wife is still under the weather. :( Congrats on 6 months free. That's awesome!

Neriah and I were just wondering about lolady. I too hope she's just been resting and has been able to maintain the foot hold she had with her e-cig. I hope we hear from her again soon.

Best wishes to you and I hope to hear from you again soon!

Hello All

I still drop by often to read. Like most haven't posted much lately. All that spider talk ran me off. :)

Hope you get feeling better ht. I am anxious to see how I do this fall/winter now that I'm not smoking. In the past I usually had at least one bad cold and continuous bad coughing spells. I think I will be pleasantly surprised this year. Of course the coughing is already gone.

Hope everybody is doing well.

As far as that other place I don't even remember the last time I went there. And no plans to again. I wish them all the best of luck but they are on their own. If anyone visiting there really wants information on e-cigarettes I have a feeling they can find US now. That was my goal all along.

Hey Phonedude, I think you will be pleasantly surprised. I hope so anyway. I haven’t had so much as a sniffle in 18 months (knock on wood) and I used to get a couple each winter. My wife has had at least 4 colds the past year and a half.
Good luck! :thumb:

Thanks Steve that's really encouraging. Especially that she has had a cold and you didn't get it. In the past I know I couldn't get within a mile of one. Health wise I do feel much better.

:)

Well, I never expected quitting to make me immune from colds and flu, but we were saying how much worse it would have been if we were still smoking. For the first 2 or 3 days we both had fearsome sore throats but there is no doubt we'd have still kept on smoking had we not switched, no mere sickness would have stopped us!

Cheers

I'm also happy to see you Hobotivo but not happy to hear you and your wife are ill :(
I hope she will get over her flu very soon and glad to hear you are up and posting here!
I'm hoping that we will all use this thread to check in on each other to make sure everyone is okay and to help each other as best we can....:)
Congratulations on having six months free!

Hey Mustang, since I'd been back, I've been reading more and posting more in other threads. I just checked out this one to see what's going on. Maybe we were all too busy over the summer. I know I was busier, and lost my internet for a bit. It's all good now. I did start smoking again over the Summer. My old friend styed with me for a bit. I worked a lot of hours, so I couldn't get her to not smoke in the house. Plus, I'd been having issues with the Njoy. Somewhat disappointed in it at the end, but it was good for a while to help me to decide what to do. With such a good battery for the ego, this is going to stick. I'm not upset with myself about it. Oh well, so I'm not smoking now. I smoked for 30 years. If I smoke for a couple months, then off for 6, or maybe off for good finally. No big deal. Beating myself up over it helps nothing.
