well I opened up the dremel...its toast...I'm looking at a replacement but its not likely I can get it till January or if the wifey get it for me for a Christmas present...gonna be a booooring December...no modding w/o the dremel....

when I get a replacement I may be modding the shell of this dead one...

got my charge controller boards in 2 days early...and now I cant make cuts to install them......GRRR!

Less mental gymnastics involved.....I guess since I can seem eloquent at times that people don't realize how hard it is for me to put my thoughts to txt...whether written or electronic format...when I talk I can sound like a drunken sailor or a college professor depending on my mood and stress level

and as for brand...I have had both dremel and others...this one was actually much tougher than the dremel version which lasted 6 mo...Yes I am very hard on tools...next one I get will actually be from HF and a grinder w a flex arm so it will likely not break...

HF is great for cheap throwaway tools. Don't know if I'd trust anything with moving parts from there though.

That really bugged me when I lived in Florida. Root beer and Dr. Pepper are not Coke.

It was a nice childhood memory. We would bike or walk to the pharmacy and have one. It was like a nickel. They also served ice cream cones and donuts. It was a big thrill at 8-9-10.
