Thanks Blu...That is a good read. My only consolation in all of this politicizing is that our government is going through a long ineffectiveless period because they can't seem to agree on much. Meanwhile, I can enjoy my vape unencumbered by their interference!

That dr guy doing the interview by Skype, has a lapse in his education. He is worried for nothing. Those who use the ecig as a tool to get them through a few hours without their smokes, are a number of things he is denying in favor of panic support. Those who do that which he "fears". Are usually 1. New to the concept of vaping. 2. Are in transition phase. 3. Have not yet experienced the perfect for them setup and flavor to help them forget to light up. 4. Are individuals who do things in their own good time. Buying an ecig at all, probably took years of debate and procrastination. 5. Once they research, dive in, they will stand a 90% chance of becoming a full pledged vaper.

The other thing he is worried over, is the term "might". Might is a mighty imaginative word. He would do himself good, to jot his might down in a journal, and cross that bridge if and when it ever needs crossing. Another thing he can do is to keep in mind that eCigs allow the individual to wean oneself off of not only the nicotine, but the hand to mouth, if so wanted or needed. This gem is somehow hidden from him, whether by propaganda, stress, or fact searching, I don't know, and I'm not to judge, but I hope he calms down and henceforth takes steps as scientifically as possible.

Diluting facts with imaginings and opinions, ideologies and myths, is not very scientific. Let's get these smokers DeSmoked before worrying about safer alternatives for the safer alternatives, when the first safer alternative is actually the 2nd solution all along if one stops to think about it.

I couldn't post for some reason in comment, and these thoughts are burning a whole in my brain, so I'm sharing them here before the afternoon wind kicks up.
