To all.....
Beware of buying any e-products from E-Cigarette-USA.com. Firstly.....their product sucks. Secondly....even though their web site says they do refunds....they don't .
I bought a Pro 98 Starter kit & extra cartridges from them on 5/10/2009. I received it on 5/12/2009. It cost me $67.53 (US $). The first day I got it....the instructions said to charge the battery for the first time for 8 hours. After 3 hours...the light turned green....telling me it was fully charged. I called E-Cigarette-USA.com to ask if that meant I could use it then & was told no. They told me to let it charge for the full 8 hours. So I did. The next morning....I inserted a cartridge into the inhaler & followed the instructions on how to smoke it. After 2 puffs....the light started flashing green & there was no fog / smoke / vapors. Nothing. And.....every time I tried to puff on it....the light always flashed green....indicating the battery needed to be charged. So.....I attached the second battery (it too was fully charged by this time). It too started flashing green on the first puff. So....I called the 1-800 # for E-Cigarette-USA.com. I explained what was happening. The person I spoke to said it may be a defective battery or atomizer & he was going to send me a new atomizer & battery. I got them 3 days later. When I opened the package....it appeared that I had been charged ($) twice. So.....I called E-Cigarette-USA.com again....questioning if in fact I had been charged twice. I was told no....I hadn't been charged twice. While I had the sales person on the phone.....I asked that if the new atomizer & battery still didn't work properly...would I be able to get a refund. I was told no....that they had used up all the profit they would have made from my business when they sent the new battery & atomizer. Well....wouldn't you know it!? The new battery & atomizer didn't work either. No smoke / vapors / fog. Nothing. So....now I'm at the mercy of the BBB & FTC to try & get my money back. Chances are....I won't get it back. SO ANYONE CONSIDERING DOING BUSINESS WITH E-CIGARETTE-USA.COM.....DON'T DO IT!!! Do your research. Find a reputable e-cigarette company to buy from. Believe me. Do yourself a favor. E-Cigarette-USA.com's product is 1st generation & their product SUCKS! There are other companies out there that are making 2nd & 3rd generation e-cigarettes. Those are the ones to buy from (ur-ma.com is supposed to be a good one).
If anyone out there reads this & has bought an ur-ma.com e-cigarette.....I'd like some input about ur-ma.com. If I ever get my money back from E-Cigarette-USA.com....I'm thinking I'll try an ur-ma.com e-cigarette.

That's pretty negative for a first post to the forum.

When they sent the replacements, did you return the first shipment? Possibly a reason for being charged twice.

Obviously since this is a first post, you didn't ask for help from anyone in the forum. There are many reasons for your problem, and some are not necessarily serious. Some problems are solved with something as simple as a paperclip.

Two complete kits with the same problem is highly unlikely. I suggest you get your fact together as accurately as possible and start researching and asking questions. It may not be as bad as you think.

I have ordered alot of my stuff from E-cigarette-usa and they provided me with excellent service, product, and communication. It was so good the first time that when I need something I go to their site first to see if they have it.
So if someone is not going to go there because of the opening post, just know there are alot of us that recommend them because of their good service.

I've never ordered from them, but you just don't start telling people that something "sucks" when you have no clue of how to use it. Two complete kits that don't work at all is not impossible, but very unlikely. And the same symptoms with each tells me that the same mistake is being made with both.

I agree. That was a thought that I had last night. If someone is eager to join a message board, wouldn't they try to be friendly to members first?

Not always. Some buy, and just start puffing. No instructions, no questions, no research, no reading up at all. Then when it don't work, it SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!

I get the same thing on the job. I service packaging equipment. I go in to troubleshoot a 20 to 30 year old machine which has been abused for years, and the first thing I hear is "This thing is a piece of s**t"

After a couple days of repairs and rebuilding, they think it the best thing since sliced bread.

E-cigs are a device. They have to be properly used, and serviced.

Getting hard to tell these days Jim. I don't mind someone coming on and saying they had a bad experience....it happens. But to make such a post then "disappear" with no further conversation about it makes it suspect. We'll see if he comes back and has any more to say about it.

I'm thinking two ways here.

1) Spam? - Delete the thread. No problem.
2) Maybe the OP shot off his mouth prematurely, and is embarrassed to come back.

In the case of #2, you would be doing the OP a favor by deleting the thread.

I'm not going to say who I've ordered from until I see the final results but I ordered 2 kits plus extra batteries and atomizers. All 7 of the blue LED batteries that I got were bad! I have several orange LED that I bought from somewhere else and they work fine so it's not user error. I have sent them to the supplier who is replacing them and if things go as promised I will gladly post about it and how great they have been in dealing with it.

With that being said, yeah, I agree, it was pretty negative for a first post and does sound a little fishy. But getting 2 kits in a row that don't work is not beyond the realm of possibility and not that far fetched.

I agree. I've learned over the years that nothing is impossible. That is why I label things as "unlikely" When you get a batch of a defective product, it's usually something simple, and in rare cases, such as yours it may be justified. Unlike the OP, you are holding your feelings until you get an answer. If your answer is unfavorable, you then have the right to say "it sucks". I respect you for your patience.
