This document was created in response to one of the same name authored at the University of Kentucky. That document contains many factual errors, and most of the source citations consist of press releases and opinion pieces. Of the few citations that are true research reports, none of the research was conducted on e-cigarette vapor. They don't seem to grasp the fact that vapor is not smoke.

Vocalek do you ever get hate emails from these antis? Or have you actually seen one change their mind and apologies for their false articles? You have got to be upsetting many of these liars =P

One can only hope!

Did you check out the sources they cited for some of their allegations? The FDA posted the actual lab report, a primary source, and they did not cite that. They cited the FDA's press release, a secondary source. Likewise, they cited the AMA's (secondary) report about letters sent to e-cigarette companies when the actual letters are posted on the FDA web site.

Other than the FDA, none of the sources cited ever conducted research on e-cigarettes or e-cigarette consumers.

Found an entry on their Facebook page

Follow the link to our informational one pager on e-cigarettes to find out what they are, why they are harmful and the public health risks they pose. Smoke-free policies need to cover e-cigarettes along with traditional tobacco products.

To comment, I had to navigate to their main Facebook page and then "Like" the page (yeah, right). kysmokefree | Facebook

Perhaps you want to "Like" their Facebook page and leave a comment about how harmful e-cigarettes have been for you.
