I've lurked here forever and gleaned tons of info over the past year or so, and I decided I might as well make an account.

I originally came here to help my wife get off the analogs. I followed some advice here and ordered her a couple kits, but it didnt work for her at first. A year later we tried again, and now she's been analog free for 3 months in a row. It's awesome.

Thanks guys! It's truly amazing how well it's working for her. Not only was she very, very dependent on the nicotine, but due to the way she manages stress, she was very habitually addicted to the whole smoking experience. Patches never worked for her because she couldn't let go of that physical habit of holding the cigarette. She had almost given up hope that she could quit, but she has, and I'm very proud of her!

I'm just glad I found this place, because i would have otherwise been totally lost trying to figure everything out for her.

My Wife and I started vaping January 1 and dropped analogs all together within 2 days. I've turned 7 people onto vaping; 1 has quit nic altogether and the rest are still vaping. Interestingly the guy that turned me onto it was vaping too strong a nic and is now smoking analogs because the nic overdose scared him so bad. I keep trying to convert him back. You are a great husband and she is lucky to have you!

Hey! Thats great I wish my boyfriend was like that. He's not too supportive of me vaping and wants me to quit :(. I'm glad it has worked out for her. Trial and error is normal. I didnt quit when I bought my first kit, but then I found this forum, which is full of useful information, got a new kit and I haven't smoked for over 10 days!

That's how I was, too. I even told my hubby that if he didn't quit when I did, I'd have a harder time of it. We quit together, after he got his eGo and I got my Riva. We've been analog-free for nine days now and he's even started making his own juices. It's awesome that you're so supportive, helping your wife find her way to quit!

First and foremost, it's great that you are not only supportive (that would be the "yeah, Honey go for it") but an active participant (actually looking for info and helping her). I am sure that you can take part of the credit for her quitting such an addictive habit! Congrats to BOTH of you :thumb:

I am just surprised to see YOU here and not her...
