I love my Aspire tanks, with the exception of the Atlantis. Straight out of the box the mouth piece is HUGE, plus I felt like even my favourite vapes didn't taste as good. You can buy an adapter to fit a 510 drip to the tank, if you do decide on the Atlantis I'd definitely get that too.

I have a few Nautilus tanks, two mini's and two .. not mini's. I'd suggest getting her a Nautilus NOT MINI so you don't have to get different coils. Then she can just swap tanks for different juice. And yes the BVC coils are the way to go.

Thanks for all of the replies everyone. I have a few new ideas to look into.

Unfortunately, the idea of flavorless juices would be counterproductive. The flavor is a huge key to her sticking with the vapor. And I don't believe that the lack of nic is causing her cravings, it's the mental practice of lighting up. At this point, she concedes that an analog wouldn't be as good as she remembers them being and I think that she may be over that hump now.

Try the nautilus drip tip on the atlantis

Huh? The mini and normal version both use the same coil heads

In time she will get to the point of not even liking the smell of cigarettes.... Best thing to do is stick with what works, make sure you have spares, and plenty of juice you like:)

They will always be making things better, new tanks, flavors, and devices. Enjoy what you have and master it. You can upgrade at anytime but enjoy and learn your vape style:vapor: It will save you money in the long run.

Yeah they both use the same coil. Only different sized tank. Or did I not punctuate to satisfaction?

Nothing to do with punctuations, you claimed they took different coils

They already have a mini. I'm suggesting they get a plain ole 5ml NAUTILUS, NOT ANOTHER MINI NAUTILUS, so they don't have to get different coils.

I'm not quite sure why you think I thought they take different coils, or how you think I suggested they do.

I'll pretend that makes perfect sense, carry on

if she is still having cravings.... maybe a bit more nic in the juice will help... also, not everyone has the capacity to swap over in 3 weeks... took me 6 months to get to the point of vaping more than smoking, Been vaping over 2 yrs now and still desire the ciggies on occasion and partake of an occasional ciggie with the morning coffie. But then again, I started vaping to cut costs on ciggies, not to quit.

Let her go dual use for the time she needs to make the transition... its not all about quitting smoking, its about reduction first and the benefits health wise of that reduction... the hardest part about smoking reduction/quitting is the self denial of something you want.

She's on day 18 at the moment, and even after an upgrade to the eleaf istick 50 watt and a growing library of flavors that she likes, she is still dealing with the cravings. Her birthday is coming up, and I'd like some advice for a possible upgrade over the Nautilus Mini. Here are the criteria:

My advice is to bump up the nicotine.

My wife smoked Marlboro Light 100s. When she first started vaping she was using an 18mg juice, but still had cravings and would occasionally still smoke. We bumped her up to 24mg and the cravings instantly went away. 1 month on 24mg and we reduced her back to 18mg and she was fine with that.

Since then she's been a bit odd with her vaping habits. Most people gradually reduce their nicotine levels, but she's gradually reduced how much she vapes. She was vaping 3-4ml a day when she started (tootle puffer) and now I'm not sure how much she's vaping, but I mixed her a 250ml bottle of juice in February and she still has around 50ml in the bottle. Meanwhile I've more than doubled the volume that I vape, but have dropped from a 24mg down to 10mg in my Nautilus and 3mg in my sub ohm tanks.

The burbies of Cleveland
1) Flavor production.
2) Low maintenance type of tank. She has no interest in building coils and such.
3) Preferably something that can take advantage of her higher powered battery, a 50 w device.
4) Oh, and she's a mouth to lung hitter- it has to mimic her old habit.
5) Tank capacity doesn't really matter since she likes to change flavors constantly anyways.

:)

Okay, let's do this right...
What I was talking about was one of these Smoktech Coils
inside one of these Smoktech PBC V2

This is not a sub-ohm tank, Angry. It's a factory head, 1.8-4.0 ohms (wow, I didn't know they went that high!) in a glass tank. The glass is encased in plastic, so if the little woman drops it, there's a pretty good chance it'll survive.

Rebuilding these heads is damn near impossible, but one of them lasts me about a month and they're ninety-five cents each..

The only reason I'm putting this up here is that all of these sub-ohm tanks people are recommending will run you around $30-$40. The SmokTech PV2 (smaller than the PV1) is $5.95 and the head is under a buck. If your wife hates it, you wasted like ten bucks lol..if your wife hates the sub-ohm tanks, you're out four times that much!

So the right way is get her a cheap gift and hope she doesn't divorce him?

Ehh, she knows that I'm cheap. And she is still around despite my odd passions like the tarantula collection, so I'm not worried about her leaving.

I greatly appreciate everyone's $.02 whether I think it's applicable or not. And to be honest, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if we stumbled into the best personal option with the Nautilus Mini on just the third attempt. I keep it open that there may be a better option as well. It seems that one characteristic of being a vaper is always searching for the Holy Grail of devices, and I embrace that as a serial collector.

I've been looking into all suggestions. Maybe she likes the "cheap" option best, and maybe she learns to lung hit on a subtank mini and loves it. Exploration is all part of a new hobby. Who woulda thunk that a cheap L. parahybana would be a more enjoyable spider to own than an expensive T. blondi? Know what I mean?

I am a female love my nautilus and mini BUT now I'm Sooo loving my arctic and subtank mini!!
I honestly like the arctic a little more[emoji175]
Flavor is intensely better the thing to remember it's direct lung vapor vs mouth to lung even thou u ""can"" I was wondering what I was doing wrong w my subtank lol till I VAPEd it correctly. However the arctic handled mouth to lung better.
Anyways it's just something I wish I heard sooner so I'm putting it out there lol
Good luck!!
