e-cigs & coughing (not me, my friends)

Could someone help me out. I have turned several friends on to e-cigs. Several of them have an immediate coughing reaction after inhaling the vapor. Why would this be? I am vaping on the same ecig & not having the problem. The ejuice is 60/40 mix of VG/PG 24mg. This has happened to several of my friends & I want to turn them on to vaping but this is scaring them away. Any thoughts?

This is very common with people trying an e-cig for the first time. People take shorter/sharper pulls, or inhales, w/ analogs. This doesn't work w/ e-cigs and can induce coughing.

Tell them to take a slow/steady drag, about 3-4 seconds. The length of drag differs some between devices/atty's, but this should stop the coughing reaction.

It also is quite possible that your friend's body cannot handle the PG..I have a friend that is "somewhat allergic" to PG..The higher the PG in the juice the worse reaction he has (coughing)..

another possibility is that the 24mg nic my be too strong for them.
