Hi,

I'm a total newbie vaper and I don't know if I am doing something wrong. I replaced my carthomizer to a LR atomizer because I was not so happy about it and I felt I was not getting any flavor from it. When I put in my brand new atomizer, I noticed it was good at first then after a few vapes, it kinda hurt my nose. I don't know If I am doing something wrong. Its only been a week since I started vaping I like it but it kinda hurt my nose... was it too strong for me?

Could it be that the vapor has dried out your nasal membranes? You might want to try using some nasal saline spray or gel that you can buy at any pharmacy--it only costs a couple of dollars to give it a try...it definitely will not hurt to give it a try, and may help. My favorite brand is Ayr Nasal Saline GEL. By the way, I am a pharmacist.

I'm not a pharmacist, but I play one on the internet. ;) Sorry, had to say that, not denying your claim at all, promise.

I know that for me certain flavors make me sneeze like mad. Not necessarily painful, and we all love a good sneeze, right? That said, I think it's just a natural reaction to certain vapes. I tend to exhale through my nose, as your nasal cavity picks up notes in some juices that you miss exhaling from your mouth. And some of those, especially the stronger flavors, seem to make me sneeze sometimes.

Another possibility could be that you have an allergy to PG. Pick up some VG and see if that helps. I've never had any problems with sinus pains, so seems a bit weird to me, but dehydration is definitely a side effect, so perhaps your nose is just super sensitive or you may be somewhat dehydrated already.

Hope you find a solution. Good luck.

Be calm .. I'm not a doctor but ive stayed in a Holiday Inn Express ..

And I would say try vg juice, drink water and use nostral spary. Also, be sure theres not any left over water on your atty and its completely dry. If water is still there, the vitamins will pop, giving you a horrible crackling sensation when you take a puff.

PG= propylene glycol, VG=vegetable gycerine, both basically harmlees( i say basically cause everything these days kills you) Both these ingredients are used in the USP ( meaning its food/medical grade, or kosher or all) More PG more throat hit, more VG more clouds. I would try a 50/50 blend this ratio is carto, atty friendlier and mucous membrane friendly. Drink lots of water, make sure you are not using a nic ratio that is too high and/or vaping more than you smoked. Nicotine is a stimulant, and also a vaso constrictor, which means nicotine constricts the veins, capillaries and arteries.
This was happening when you were smoking cigarettes, yes, but if you are consuming more nic than what you were used to.
If you breathe out thru your nose than its only logical your nasal passages are getting a bit irritated.
SO drink more water , maybe slow down on the nic levels. If you were a Pack a day or more , you do need the nic at a higher level, but make sure you are not chain vaping more than you smoked.

In my case of nose problems which was excessive sneezing it was a new juice that i was using. What i did was quit using that flavor. So my advice is to experiment using a different flavor and or different delivery system. It could be the atomizer idk but you can find out by experimenting. Also can you define the pain you are having?

Remember always to drink plenty of water...

You are supposed to inhale it, not snort it!!!

Seriously, it does cause dehydration so don't panic drink water. (or Gatorade)

Ps, never, ever, ever, ever, ever leave your bottle of juice next to your eye drops in a dark room. I am not kidding it hurts soooo bad and I was lucky I didn't kill one of my cats running for the faucet to flush my eye out.

It's OK to laugh I'm fine and so are my cats.
