i'm interested in getting an e-cigerette thingy for my brother

we're living in nyc and i know all the drama around a law trying to be passed to ban them -- but ignore that for now, its not illegal where i am.

anyway i would like to know which e-cig is the best.. as in, where can i buy it (website -- manufacturers is best) and how they work? like what should i buy with it?

i saw a commercial for one but its insane, they expect to charge monthly.. no way.. if my bro likes it he'll get refills himself on his own dime.. i just want to get him the device and a beginner/sample package..

info pleaase :)

Don't order over TV. There will be many that will jump in and suggest different models to you, and
you can also just review prior posts on this forum and you can read many suggestions
and reviews and that will help you as well.
There is alot of YouTube videos and just about every model available and that might
help you as well.
Hope all works out for you and good luck to you and your brother. He is very lucky
to have a sister that wants to help him.

For the easiest to use one that will likely satisfy like a cigarette, I'd get a kr808d-1. Especially if this is a gift and he didn't ask you for help (smokers hate to be offered help when it comes to quitting smoking) the kr808d-1 battery will last the average vaper about 4 hours but the starter kit comes with two batteries, so one is charging while the other is in use. The system is a two piece system so it's easy to use: charge the battery, twist on a cartomizer (the part with the e-juice and atomizer in it) and vape it.

If nothing else, it will be the easiest transition to a good e-cig and it's a great place to start.

I think most people get them from vapor4life.com

Smart to come here first. Don't buy off TV or at a mall or off any glitzy website either without knowing exactly what you are buying, if it's any good, and what it should really cost. Dead giveaway of a rip-off is they don't sell blank carts or cartomizers. Another sign - charging more than $18 for a battery.

Two most popular 1st ecigs here - compared
510 is closer in size to a cig, and has shorter battery life
510 comes as a 3-piece, can be used as a 2-piece with small section of prefilled cartos, larger section of blanks
KR8 is a 2-piece with a larger selection of prefilled cartos, smaller selection of blanks. To be a 3-piece it needs another models' atty and in most cases an adapter - this one is a good choice if you have interest in prefilled cartos
NOTE - whichever you buy and whether you use atty+carts or cartos, you will be refilling them with ejuice.

If you are a heavy smoker, hard dragger, or need exceptional battery life, then you may want to skip the slim cylindrical ones and get a fat-battery model like Ego or Riva 510 for 6-8+ hours of battery charge.

Buy manual batteries - less work, more sealed against juice leak, more consistent drags, won't turn on accidentally from wind or vibration
