Me and my family has been looking at E cigs for awhile for a few reason but apparently so far none I have seen do what we thought it would.

A. A cheaper alternative to smoking especially since here in Maryland they are 4.85 for a cheap pack and for the more expensive cigarettes they go up to almost 8$ a pack. We all smoke menthol & their is 4 of of us so we smoke 4 packs Daily at least. So places like blucigs would cost triple the price of a real smokes.

B. As stated their is 4 of us, so their would need to be 4 packs, again with out busting the bank.

C. It would hopefully not taste like dirt and actually be as good as a real menthol or better in its own way by being like really smooth when going down the throat and being breathed out. So Can anyone please help me out lol!

Btw my name is Bobby, we are also looking to convert for the health reasons. Thanks for your help and appreciate any info and advice to give to a newbie :) or Noob

Kr808d-1 starter kit: kr808d-1 cartomizers, kr808d battery and more! Kr808d-1 kit from LiteCigUSA! this is what i use ( baught an overpriced version with premium name tag but its the same thing) and i love it, also get some juice theres so much information on here about different sites i really cant recommend anything ive only tried 2 different juices so far and neither was a menthol but do have some menthol on the way. but i got some kamel nobacco 18mg from vapor4life.com and its really good, not really tobacco flavored kinda sweet.
the kr808 works really good n i like it cuz it actually looks more like a cigarette compared to allot of the big ones and feels like a real cigarette depending on your flavor, deffinetaly stick with a manual battery if you do get juice to refill so you dont kill your batteries.
welcome to the forum:)

Why not buy one kit, and you can all see if you like it then buy more kits. If you stay in the same family (KR808 or 510) you can switch out parts and chargers and things.

For $29.99 you can get a Riva ego at Liberty Flights. It comes with two complete cigs and a charger. I don't like their prefilled carts of their juice. But for $30 you can all at least try it. Each battery lasts about 8-10 hours.

No matter what you chose it going to cost less than smoking cigs. You just have to make the initial investment of the kits and find a juice you're going to like. After that it's juice and accessory parts.

All good suggestions above. I like the suggestion abou buying one kit to let the family try. Once this is dnoe, I think the other thing you have to do when you do identify a kit/s is realistically establish your opening budget. Let's say, on the low side, $16/day = $480/mo was being spent on cheap cigs for the family. Can you skratch together $480 up front to pay for kits for the family? For $400 you could start everyone out with great starter kits and a boat load of juice.

I bought everyone in my family a disposable e-cig for them to try it and see if it woulr work for them. Then if it does they will all be getting a gift of a kit from me

I would suggest justing buying up 4 ego passthroughs, a few boxes of cartomizers, and some menthol juice. Sure, the passthroughs may not look like cigarettes, but if the thing is successful in satisfying your nic craving then you wont care what they look like. The ego's also last much longer on a charge then the "cigarette" style and generally produce more vapor. It will also end up being cheaper than buying 4 starter kits considering you can get one for around $25.

That's a good idea. LiteCigUSA has $10 disposables. Mad Vapes had them on sale for 5.95. I have never tried any of these disposables so I don't know how they are. As long as they understand that when they get a regular kit that the draw will probably be much much better and the juice much better. I tried one disposable and my face practically caved in trying to get a drag and the juice was like toxic fumes. I have no idea where it came from though.

What got me interested in vaping was the Apollo disposable I read about here. It was regular flavor and I like menthol but for a disposable it was excellent. After I tried that, I knew with the right juice I could do this.

If you are all in the same house you could easily start with 3 kits that will give you each a PV plus plenty of extra attys and two batteries to charge while 4 are being used.

Liberty flights Riva's have been very popular among new users lately and there really are none left except in pink and titanium. But L-F does have an ECF special on eGos right now that are the same price as the Riva kits.

With 4 smokers in one house the savings would add up fast. If everyone switched exclusively to vaping you would have saved the money to cover 3 kits in two weeks.
