I could use some advice. I ordered 50 dollars worth of eliquid from an reputable online eliquid vender last month on the 5th.
I still haven't received it as of today. Weeks after their website read "waiting fulfilment" I tried emailing, calling them.

Their voice is full and they didn't email me back. I left a message via social media link they had on their site. The only response I got was "what was your order number"

Its been a month and it still hasn't been shipped. When should I contact BBB and FTC?

I've since spent extra money on local eliquid for this to get me by. The kicker is...this is the 3rd time I've had to deal with this type of situation from the same place.

The eliquid is killer but the service is horrible.

Do they have a Facebook? Or they registered suppliers here? You said you emailed and called, but these are two more options. I'd try these two options, it's been a month, however I don't feel the BBB does much anyways. Not quite sure what the FTC is though. Off to google I go haha.

What I honestly don't understand is, if this happened 3 times already, why keep ordering from them? For me, I believe in the "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me". I don't care how good the product is, customer service is everything to me.

FTC should be the Federal Trade Commission.

Sorry.. You have said this is your 3rd time and were aware of their crappy service. If you like their liquid that much you just have to deal with the crappy service. Unless they have a "Next Day" guarantee.

Doubt the FTC would do anything.

BBB mayhap.. but that is more for B&Ms.

Heck many people under 50 have no clue who the BBB is.

Your best bet is with Puffon, credit card dispute. Still may not work since you know they have crappy service.

I don't and will not own a facebook account. I don't know anything about how to look for a registered supplier. I did call them and email them. They have great banana tobacco that is cheap and they were doing okay so I figured give them a chance. I don't have the luxury of buying average priced eliquid so they were a great deal. I guess i'll severe them for good and call it a lose.

Contact your credit card company and do a charge back.

Online companies hate chargebacks, and since eliquid / vaping CC processers are hard to come by in the first place, AND most processors only allow a certain % of chargebacks before they frown on your business, that is the best thing to do.

Get your money back first, then file with their states attorney general/consumer protection, BBB, etc.

Pocketbook is always first line of defense.

And remember, great customer service is paramount. There are so many many eliquid companies now, they need you more than you need them, and chances are you are going to be able to find similar products elsewhere.

Is there a legit way because I'm not sure how?

YOu don't need FindLaw, just call your bank or CC company and ask THEM how to get your money back. ;) They will explain their requirements.

If a debit card, you will have more problems though, as they do not have the same protections that a CC offers.

then go read the Mrs. T's Bakery topics. :) yikes. a company who raked vapers over the coals with non performance, slow shipping, no shipping, and everything under the sun.

Yet, people still kept buying from them.

As others have suggested, check out the ECF registered suppliers. I also started out checking the reviews here on ECF for different vendors. You can get a decent idea of what problems people are having with vendors, and whether or not the vendor works with the customer to resolve problems.

I also tend to gravitate to the General Eliquid Discussion. I have found several vendors that my daughter and I really enjoy just from posts and replies in that part of the forum. Once I find a vendor that I want to try, I go to that vendor's site to check out the prices, flavor options, customization options, etc., and if I still want to try this vendor, I sign up for email newsletters, etc. We are on a strict budget, so there are times that a couple of months pass before I have the extra cash to try a new vendor, since I am buying for two people and it is important that we both enjoy the options from any vendor.

I cannot help you as far as your already bought and paid for unreceived order. So far, I have only tried two vendors that I found through ECF that have had processing and shipping issues. I actually got my order from one (Lucky Seven) just before they went belly-up (very cheap pricing, running sales, and getting so far behind they could not catch up with orders). The other one, it took a week to process, and then once the USPS got it, I had the order in my mailbox within 3 days of shipping. However, thanks to other members of ECF, I was aware of the processing and shipping delays with both vendors, and could plan accordingly. As a matter of fact, Mech Sauce, the second vendor, is turning out to be a favorite for both me and my daughter. They moved to a larger location, hired more people, and are now getting orders processed and shipped within a couple of days, instead of a week or more. They also keep customers posted via Facebook as to what orders have been processed and are on their way to customers.

Good luck to you, and I hope you find a vendor that is more customer-oriented than the one you have been using.

Getting a chargeback is not easy peasy. Basically you call the credit card company and explain what has happened and you would like to contest a charge. They put a hold on that charge and send correspondence to the vendor. The vendor has 45 days to dispute it. I am in one now with a vendor for 1500 bucks. It is obvious that the charge was duplicated. The vendor knows it. The credit card company knows it. It has been three weeks and nothing. It's like technology took a dump and everyone ran.
