Anyone care to share their experiences with an e-go vs a screwdriver? I think they are the same, only the e-go uses joye510 attys while a screwdriver uses DSE901 attys??? I currently have a 901 with both automatic and manual batteries, like them both on different levels, and was thinking about also purchasing a joye510, seeing as there is quite a heated debate as to which is better :) Then I came across screwdrivers, and upon some research, found that there is one for both the 510 (the e-go) and the 901 (the screwdriver). So, I would probably go with a screwdriver, seeing as I already have 901 atomizers, but am wondering if I should just switch over to joye and go with the e-go...any suggestions?? reviews?? anything??

They aren't really the same. The eGo you can think of as a Joye 510 with a larger battery. The Screwdriver is an example of a "mod".

The eGo batteries are modular - they contain the switch, the battery itself and supporting electronics, just like the DSE901. When the internal battery fails or starts to weaken, or the switch packs up, you just buy a new one.

The Screwdriver MkII you can think of as a battery holder. It uses 18350 sized lithium batteries similar to those shown below. The Screwdriver itself should last indefinately, with the occassional replacement of batteries and switch assemblies, which are sold seperately. The original Screwdrivers were actually made from modified torches, although they are now purpose built as e-cigs. The batteries are very cheap, and this would be one advantage over the eGo. The Screwdriver contains no electronics, it is a purely mechanical device.

My SDMKll is a workhorse vapes everytime, I will take it anywhere without a second throught. Great TH, vapor, and draw LR901's but can use the 510 adapters also. My opinion but the eGo is not in the same league.

You're right. These two PV aren't even close to being in the same league. You can't really compare an eGo batt to a mod on any level. The eGo is a great PV, don't get me wrong, but it's always going to be a 3.4V device no matter what you do with it. The ScrewDriver and other mods will always start out as 3.7V devices that can be configured for both LR and HV vaping. It's apples and oranges.

OK SDMKII Screwdriver guys/gals, can you give me a couple sources for these protected Flat Top 18350's? Ideally, it would be most excellent if these sources would ship to military addresses too. I can have them shipped home and then resent to me if need be. I tend to use these batteries up. The heat kills everything after awhile here.
I already know of "tw" selling these batteries for $10 apiece, but I don't feel like paying their ridiculously overpriced everythings.
Anyway, I'd liked a few more options. I found some at DealExtreme,(UltraFire 18350 3.7V 1200mAh Batteries (Pair), but those UltraFires look like Button top batteries and I was told to only use Flat Top batteries. Is this correct information?
I have sent a note to Trog, but since this is the only forum I associate with, I'd appreciate your input if you wouldn't mind please.
As always, I appreciate all your fine ecig support and assistance. We all love this ECF forum. :thumb:

Try these for your SDMKll I use them and they work fine. The button top 18350's are to long you won't be able to screew your SDMKll together
http://stores.arloecig.com/-strse-281/Battery-DSE601-E-dsh-pipe/Detail.bok Same battery used in a DSE601 E-pipe fit the SDMKll
I also like there charger better then the one from TW, but you can use the TrustFire TR001 also
