So I was just wondering, first of all, if there are any e-hookahs for sale, and whether anybody had reviewed them? I would be very interested in getting my hands on one.

On a side note, I'm pretty sure I saw someone on here about six months ago, that posted how they were making one using a soldering iron as the atomizer, which would be a brilliant idea. If anybody knows the thread I am talking about, could you post a link? I may be designing something similar.

Green Smoke actually made some and patent them. But every time you try to purchase one they are never in stock and no way to order.

yeah I was seeing the same thing, and it's not even listed on their website either. It's just an experiment I want to try and see if I can make an acceptable amount of vapor to justify using a hookah vs. my PV's

you could purchase a real hookah and use a laptop battery inside of it for power. but have to find a way to heat up the liquid. you would need some sort of super sized atomizer. unless you use an atty for each tube and get the liquid bowl to drip into the atty's.

they most likely do not sell them anymore for safety reasons. exposed liquid sitting in the top of a hookah could be potentially dangerous. if you make one make sure there is a sealed top to the bowl after you fill it with liquid.

yup, I've got a hookah I found for 20 bucks on ebay, won it last night. I was actually soldering up a project a couple months ago and I accidentally lost a drop of e-juice while I was topping off my cart and it hit the soldering iron and WOW that was a LOT of vapor. So right now it's just an idea in progress, and if I can't get it to work, I've at least got a cool conversation piece for my coffee table or something

My current plan is to try a brand new soldering iron, and a stainless steel cup of some kind on top of it to see if it will get hot enough to vaporize the fluid. If that doesn't work, I'm going to take the soldering iron apart and attach wicking to the coil itself. I'd like to find a way to make vapor in the actual "bowl" area, and lots of it so it could become a social vaporizer. I've got 4 of my buddies on PV's now, and it would be cool if it works. I've got a bunch of leftover doubler from tasty vapor to use for experiments.
