We have one. It's novel but not an everyday thing. It tastes weird (kinda plasticky). It puts out an insane amount of vapor but it also chuggs liquid. We used 0nic DIY VG (flavored with lor's strawberry). This thing will vaporize 30ml in a couple hours. As an avid hookah smoker, it's still nowhere close to a medium alien phunnel bowl packed with Tangiers shisha in a KM rig.

I was looking at this today and could not figure out why no one has attempted it yet? Fog juice is made from glycerin and distilled water. In fact, I just saw a 400W fog machine that will put out 5000cfm at Spencer's Gifts for $30. I would expect the biggest concern here is the possibilty of overheating PG juice, I have heard rumors this can cause toxic side effects. Nonetheless, a fog machine looks to me to be the perfect base of an "e-hooka." Dare I?

I was just thinking about this today. When I use my passthrough I kinda feel like I've turned my laptop into an e-hookah of sorts. Seems kinda pointless to water filter vapor, but the novelty of it seems pretty fun. I'd be really interested in just having a small 12" or so, hookah shaped, battery mod with a USB port (or 4) to plug my passthrough into. Maybe a nice velvety hose cover for the wire.... ok if someone with the means is reading this please send me an estimate and build me one, that would be amazing!

Also, shisha tobacco is moist by nature usually soaked with glycerin and/or molasses. Maybe, instead of trying to make an e-hookah that vapes juice, just make a shisha tobacco that's soaked in PG/VG, and make an electronic heating element that would sit on top of the bowl of a real hookah instead of charcoal. Just a thought.

I like my current idea of using a mason jar, filled with liquid and a homade atty, powered by a usb passthrough with an air intake tube and a draw hose with the button on it.

mostly because i use mason jars to mix my liquid and screwing a full one on while making shure the wick is in the fluid would make it easier.

no more dripping during long gaming sessions.
