I have to say that this would be a new issue for me! :)

I've been vaping for over 5 years, and can honestly say that I have never once had a bee or wasp attack me while vaping outside... and I usually vape fruity flavors, with the occasional caramel, floral, vanilla custard... all the things that I would think might attract a bee... Sorry to hear that you have been stung, but I'd have to say that, in my experience, vaping shouldn't be the cause of it.

Maybe try vaping straight DEET? ;) j/k

The only suggestion I could offer is to track down and destroy any and all wasp nests on or near your property.
Honey bees are attracted to sweet smelling juice, never have had a problem with any other type of bee.
I keep a can of wasp and hornet killer handy (Home Depot/Walmart). Long range spray that really works well.
Welcome aboard

It's possible that they are attracted to it, but more than likely it's because you live in Louisiana and right now the southern US is just flooded with wasps. I'm in SC right now, we have about 50 wasp nests in our yard. Our neighbor got stung several times last week. I have always been pretty lucky and have never gotten stung by a wasp or a bee... even while vaping. KNOCK ON WOOD!!

It's entirely possible your vape could attract wasps, they do follow scents, especially sweet ones.

Plus we're entering the "end of wasp season"...the little buggers know their time is short, and are aggressively trying to stockpile before the cold hits.
Our place is a wasp magnet, I've found that leaving a half-full can of Orange pop in the corners of the yard we don't frequent keeps the pests out 9f the areas we do.

Also -- wasps are extremely drawn to the colors blue and yellow -- if I'm doing anything in the yard, I don't wear those colors at all, or the wasps (including those damned nosy yellowjackets) just swarm me. Of course if I wear a floral print, bees find me entrancing. :D
