... like if you are going from one tobacco flavor to another... or from apple to pear etc. You may want to pick up some empty cartos too... they're pretty cheap. That way you can try different flavors cleanly. Try as many as you can... pick up a couple of samples, you may be surprised at what you do and don't like.

Easiest is just to use cartos that had similar flavors in them - like put a tobacco in one that had a tobacco flavor, or a fruit on a fruit one, or just about anything into one that had vanilla.

If you want to wash a carto you need to have a soft cap (or at least a cap you can get out without mangling it)

For standard cartos with metal cyliinder and stuffing inside
A boiling method (though that can shrivel any plastic skin it has)

I agree with greyrat - cartomizers are so cheap that it's just not worth it to try and clean them. I personally like cartos better than attys, but if I want to experiment with different juices, I use an atty. With an atty, you can drip 3 or 4 drops into it and vape til it's gone, usually 10 hits or so. Then you can blow it out good and try another flavor. A cartomizer holds so much juice that it is very difficult to override one flavor with another...
