dont quote me on this - but if i remember correctly, some one mentioned it takes 1 ml of 32MG to equal a pack of cigarettes - and this was back when people still used cartomizers, as above mentioned, nicotine delivery has changed and is alot more "potent" at delivery depending on your device/setup.

this was discussed on here sometime before i just cant find the thread.

I think this also depends on your set up. Bigger clouds=more nicotine intake. (I think)

yep. more vapor at ones means more exposure to the nic. i have seen plenty of equivalency charts that all say different things. im not sure there is a definitive answer. my suggestion is to pay attention to your body and just vape how you are comfortable. are you asking because you are trying to portion the juice to match what you were smoking?

It's hard to say, depends on a lot of factors...I can only give my personal experience. I smoked around 3 packs (60 cigarettes) per day, when I smoked. When I quit, using one device and one juice, I vaped about 5 or 6 ml per day. That was 24mg/ml nicotine juice though.

So for me, probably about 1.75 to 2 ml was equivalent to a pack of smokes.

Here is what ecblends said. . .

HOW MANY CIGARETTES in 1 ML of E-LIQUID: This is very difficult to calculate. It depends on the size of the "drag" you take among other factors.

We have found answers on the internet ranging from 1 ml = 1 pack to 3 ml = 1 pack (and some really wild numbers).

Using the average (for the average user) then, 1 pack = 2 ml of e-liquid :

a 5ml bottle would = 2.5 packs
a 15 ml bottle would = 7.5 packs
a 30 ml bottle would = 15 packs
a 50 ml bottle would = 25 packs

I'm not sure, I found different figures. Just went with this one because everyone has heard of them. Hope this helps.

I read somewhere (maybe here) that 1.6 mL of juice equals 5 to 7 cigarettes. Now, similar to Rat2Chat said, I'm sure that would depend on your drawing 'rate and volume', as well as the nic level of the juice(s) in your PV. Search here or the internet in general for 'one carto does not equal one pack'. That was I believe the title of the thread where I got the info that I said in the first sentence.

The problem with that chart is it is not indicating the amount of nic they are talking about.

I think an avg ciggie has 18mg of nic ( seems high) so 20 X 18= 360mg and if your juice is 36mg/ml that equates to 10 ml to equal 1 pack of ciggies ( now it seems really high) I vape 36 nic and use about 4-5 ml a day ( when Im bored) but a 100ml bottle lasts me about a month ( 3 ml a day avg) so... either Im getting more nic from my juice than ciggies or ciggies dont have as much nic in them as purposed... but if we drop the nic level of a ciggie to 1.8 mg per ciggie, then the numbers sound right....

my 3-4 ml aday at 36 nic then equals my previous habit of 3 packs a day....

Yes I suppose you would have to take it a step further and calculator your own numbers. As long as I have juice made up and ready to go. . . I'm good.
