I also think that pg/vg should be determined by vendor for best experience.
AiV does that, they are selling their juices mixed to what they are sure is the best ratio. And you can request another pg/vg ratio, you'll get warned by them:
But you can do that.

It's like restaurant to me, I'm fairly sure that chef knows how much and which ingredients to use in that dish for best flavor.

But the vendors don't know what your vaping with. Some delivery systems have a hard time with a dominant VG profile. Some people are allergic to PG.

There are so many personal preferences that using that method could very well drive a lot of business away.

Wlad @ Ahlusion's actually encourages you to email them and say what setup you are using so they can give suggestions and personalize the liquid to not only your tastes but equipment for best performance.

Vendors arent being irresponsible. They are responding to what the customer wants. The great thing about all this variety? Im sure there are vendors who share your viewpoints and cater to customers exactly like you who dont want to have options.

In fact, try some of the cig-alike vendors.

The fact that you are in a forum should indicate to you that the subscibers here have developed an interest in vaping that is greater than "sticking it in your mouth and drawing".

You are in fact completely correct for the majority of people that are vaping now or will do in the future -98% of people will just want a device that produces vapour with maybe 20 flavours to choose from and 3 different nicotine levels.

You go onto a torch forum and listen to people there talk about batteries and Lumens in ways you or I could not imagine -99.9% of people that use a torch however just want some light at the end of a battery tube.

To our forum members it is an interest -discussing, tinkering, modding etc.

The people in ECF are not Joe Public. The commercial sweet spot will be 20 flavours and 3 nicotine levels. Regular, Lights and Ultra Lights -sound familiar?

Try www.aliceinvapeland.com - They automatically optimise the PG/VG ratio and all you need to do is pick your nicotine strenght.
OR www.fancyjuice.com - also very easy to choose the option you like.

There is many like this out there - unless someone has an allergy to PG I wouldn't worry about it too much in the beginning.

If unsure what you like start with 50/50 and then decide what you want more or less on based on the characteristics of PG or VG.
