Welcome to the wonderful world of DIY. Lots of great threads here on ecf. You really don't need a whole lot to get started. Here are some of the places I get my supplies. Probably the most used piece of equipment I have is a glass graduated cylinder. You can get syringes very cheap from your pharmacist.

Lots of flavorings offered. I happen to like the vaping Zones Gourmet or Super Concentrated flavorings because even though the cost a tad more, it seems more economical to me because you use 1-3% in a mix, rather than 10-20%.

And like I said, there are some really good threads on ecf. The only other tip I can think of is to keep really meticulous notes when you mix. Good luck to you and have fun. That's what is all about. (saving money is good also)
