e-liquid delivery system for a KGo?

Hi everyone,

I need some advice on the best e-liquid delivery system using a KGo (a 1100 mAh 510 battery).

I'm currently using 1.7ohm single coil XL cartos by Smok Tech. Some from Hoosier and some from CCV.
Initially, they worked great. But the more I get into vaping, the less I like them. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, or over using them, or gumming them up, or???

I wet them well (sometimes to the point of them gurgling) but they only seem to last for a few really good pulls before I get either no flavor or a slightly cooked filler/wick flavor (eww). Vapor is not as good as it originally was as well, and the throat hit is minimal. I have to fill them constantly, pretty much as frequently as dripping (which sort of moots the point of using them).

I tried Fluxomizers, but they leaked, and tho I got a lot of vapor, I got NO flavor (and I use a slightly diluted ProThol... PLENTLY of flavor in ProThol believe me!)

So I am wondering if there's something better out there? I'm new to all this (started vaping in September, completely off analogs for 5 weeks now :)).

How about something like the SmokTank XL - Dual Coil Cartomizer Tank? Do those work? And well? And would they work on my KGo?

I am completely confused over ohms. 1.25? 1.5? 1.7? 2.0? 3.0? I've read around the forum about the differences, but still don't understand what it all means. All I know is that I shouldn't use a 1.25 ohm anything on my KGo. Beyond that, I'm CLUELESS.

Opinons and suggestions very much appreciated!

If your tasting a slightly cooked flavor then toss it. Means that you got yourself a burnt carto which isn't safe to inhale the vapor from it anymore. Yes, the filler is cotton but still. If you've flooded your cartomizer then it won't perform the same as well. Also, carto's have a tendency to condensate and it will go back down to the filler material. Which explains why your not getting the same flavor as you initially had.

As for carto tanks. Lots of people swear by them and use them religiously. Plus, you can punch your own cartos which will save you a lot of money compared to buying those expensive pre-punched cartos.

Basically all the ohms will correspond with the voltage your vaping at. Since you have a KGO then that's 3.7V which means that 1.7 and 2 ohms will work best for your application. 1.7 or LR vaping is meant to simulate high voltage. If you use a 3 ohm atty/carto on there then you won't be getting much of anything besides flavor. 1.5 ohms is to much for a big batt/KGO to handle. Since it draws to much power from the battery which will cause the switch will short out. Leaving you with nothing to vape with.

I would go further in depth about this subject but, unless you own a mod then the info really won't help you out right now.
