I keep my liquid away from kids and pets like the label says but how dangerous is handling it? When I get it on my fingers topping off do I need to rush to an emergency room, Rinse it off at the sink or just wipe it off on my pants.

My reason for asking is I think I will buy larger bottles and transfer to smaller more conveniant bottles and I am sure I will get it all over doing that.

You should really wear rubber gloves if you think you're going to get it all over yourself, or at least wash it off your skin ASAP. The nicotine in the juice will absorb through your skin and cause nicotine poisoning if you get too much. I read where one vaper fell asleep and had juice run out of his PV and onto his skin. When he woke up he was shaking and sweating.

Ok, thnx for your response. So probably a missed drop topping off is ok if you just wipe it off but any more is something to beware of it sounds like.

I wouldn't think it's a big deal as long as you don't let in contact your skin for more than a minute or two. Just make sure you wash your hands (or wherever it spilled) completely after handling. I would advise not simply "wiping it off", because some of it will remain on your skin and absorb into your blood. Remember, nicotine is a toxic poison and spilling e-liquid on your skin is like a super-charged high-strength nicotine patch without the time-release mechanism built in--not a good thing.

I've read a couple of posters here who have had bad reactions from skin contact. I can't post the links because I don't have enough posts. You can try searching "don't go the bed with your e-cig.
That poster apparently had as much as 2ml of 24mg juice slowly seeping into his neck for hours.
I guess I wouldn't be surprised if that could really mess you up bad.

So yeah, don't stick your finger in a bottle of juice and leave it there for hours.
Other than that, nothing to worry about.

But it is a good lesson to learn the easy way rather than the hard way.
Some care does need to be taken.
