Hi, I just got a new subox mini c and have been fighting with this question for a long time. I have browsed all forums, tried everything and yet I still get ejuice in my mouth (I can taste it).

Let me just say first of all I have had many kangertech and other brands. I liked Kanger the best. This however is beyond frustrating at this point. No matter what I do (different VG/PG levels) it doesn't seem to be making a difference, and I'm starting to feel sick.

I have been vaping for years and prefer the beginner devices because they are small and I can take them around with me.

I have been using a paper towel over the tip and just do a regular drag, and I can see the ejuice on it. I've tried different wattages, it's still there. Different devices, it's still there. I vape 18 mg nicotine. I clean out tanks constantly with q tips, and on the first drag, ITS STILL THERE!! It's unbelievable.

I just don't know what to do anymore. I prefer my wattage at about 25. You should do a check for yourself because I can't be the only one with this problem. Get a paper towel and cover up the hole, and take a hit and see if any ejuice is on it.

Sorry for the ramble and I know this post is all over the place. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Ok so you vape at 25 watts - what coils are you using as if you aren't vaping within the coils recommended wattage range then it could be you aren't vaporizing all the liquid hence it ends up in your mouth.

Alternatively it could be your vaping technique. If you are pulling too hard when you inhale then you could be pulling more liquid through than the coil can handle.

I had this issue for a bit - my issue was caused by using a tiny narrow bore drip tip on a tank that wasn't suited to it. As soon as i changed it to a wide bore drip tip, my problem was solved.

Best of luck with this as I know it can really ruin the vaping experience.

Hi, Jacob and welcome to ECF!

What atomizer came with your kit? Protank 5?

I have been using a paper towel over the tip and just do a regular drag, and I can see the ejuice on it.

If the juice comes out your drip tip, your tank is not sealed properly and your eliquid is traveling up the chimney. Make sure all o-rings are undamaged and properly seated. I usually lubricate all new o-rings with plain VG. Make sure that your coil is positioned correctly (all the way in and straight) and all tank parts are in place, tightened but not too tight.

Then check your tank filling technique. Make sure that your juice goes into the filling holes, and not into the chimney, when juice gets into the chimney, it will end up in your mouth. And lastly, I suggest that you always close juice control all the way before refilling. That will also prevent leaks.

Good luck!

If you put a paper towel over the top on any vape wouldn't it (paper towel) be slightly wet because of the vapor?

That's actually a good point, but with the darker ejuices you can see that it's actual juice. As I said I'm starting to feel ill as well. About to throw all these POS out the window at this point and just go back to smoking. The hassle is really building on my nerves. Spent a lot of money on different things.

It is the same for my Smok, and like 3 different kinds of kangertech's.

Are you saying that you have the same problem with your Smok and 3 different Kanger tanks? Am I understanding you correctly? If so, please read my post (#3) above. That sounds like user error to me. Kanger makes good tanks (I own several), you just need to take time to learn how to use them correctly.

I know how to set up and fill the tanks, lol. This isn't rocket science. You learn early on if your coil is too tight it messes with things. There is something else going on. Maybe what was said earlier about the the vapor being on the paper towel from the vape juice is a valid point. However, just something isn't right.

Like I said I'm going to try these corkscrew drip tips. Almost positive this will fix the issue. Thanks for the replies people, I do appreciate it.

Hello @jacob kiefer
How often are you changing the coils?

We've all been here at these frustrating vape moments, I promise there is a solution, even if it involves a trash can. LOL

I change the coil whenever I get the burnt taste. Heck some coils I can go months without changing!

I really don't like to vape at high wattage. I'm using the 0.5 clapton kangertech coils. I'm within the wattage range. As I said before I even upped it up and vaped for a while on higher wattage and if anything it's worse.

These actually do work quite well, or the ones that just have a switchback type of partition in them also. This still doesn't fix the issue and these tanks shouldn't give this problem.

If your tank is not put together correctly and has internal leaks somewhere, you have to fix that first. Changing a drip tip will not solve a problem, I'm afraid.

But I wish you good luck nevertheless!

These are brand new devices. All new o-rings. Everything is seated properly from what I can see.

I would start with a new coil. Even if it's one you just fired up. It could have fouled.
Drip some juice on the dots with the exposed cotton. Do that several times.
Install the coil. Make sure the air intake holes are closed and fill that sucker about 3/4. Sometimes tanks don't actually like to be full and you may have one of those.
Open air holes. Take a few dry pulls then fire up.
