It's happened to all of us so I'm sure somebody has come up with an idea to prevent the shot of juice in the mouth. Drip tips work good for now but I don't like drip tips, I like whistle tips but they spit at me. Someone suggested putting a piece of paper towel in the mouthpiece but made the draw too hard. I tried tissue paper but that was too flimsy. What I'd like is a very fine mesh screen between the mouthpiece and the top of the atomizer but I'm not sure the juice won't still get through. Does anybody have any suggestions?

quit over filling it? I seldom get juice in my mouth. It does happen occasionally if I am vaping at too high of a voltage and the carto starts popping. If you are dripping you are only putting on like 3-4 drops right?

What are you using for hardware?

I suppose it's possible I'm flooding the atty but I'm using CE2 Clear cartomizers on a ego & Riva when this happens. Both are 3.7 volts. Since it's clear I can see when to stop filling so maybe the threads in the tank are soaking up too much juice and causing flooding.

I should also mention that this happens even when the juice in the CE2s are half full.

If you are getting juice all the way from the atomizer to you, my interpretation of your problem is an echo of Debian Dog's. If you are dripping and getting juice, some of your liquid is not being absorbed into the atomizer. Either you are adding too much too soon, or you are missing your target with a drop or two.

This doesn't happen when I drip. I only drip to test new juices and I use 2 - 3 drops on my ego or riva.

don't overfill. or just take the cartridge off, drip and reattach. Same with drip tips. I used to drip into them, but even with the wide mouth tip sometimes you still get juice in your mouth. Now I just take it off and drip and reattach. I never get any juice in my mouth anymore. No need to blow into the drip tip either if you take it off.

Ah, you're having issues with leaking CE2s. That clears things up a bit. A screen or other barrier placed in there wouldn't stop the liquid from getting to you. It would give you a much harder draw, if it could even be done. I'm not familiar with stopping leaks with these cartos, but if you search the forums for "ce2 leaking" you might find a solution for your particular problem. Hopefully, my bump here will bring this to the attention of someone who can help you.

Good luck to you!

Try some fluval, like what they put in cartridges, it lets you draw normal and stops the splash effect or spitting.

That's a great idea and I'm trying it right now with a full CE2 and so far no mouthful of juice. And you're right about the draw. It doesn't change it at all. Thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks for the bump. It brought my post to JWebb's attention and I think he might have the solution.
