Hey guys,

Aside from the -one- flavor that I nailed down pact that I really enjoy, I'm having a hard time getting these flavors to taste good..

I've got over 40 different flavorings from LorAnns as well as plenty of nic juice and VG liquid. These are my problems:

1. When creating these flavors, I don't get much throat hit at all, if any. Is it absolutely necessary to mix the liquids with a dillution such as vodka or ethyl, etc if I want to get a good throat hit?

2. When mixing flavors, they are coming out insanely BITTER tasting. I tried a root beer flavored mixture as well as a caramel coffee (mixing LorAnn's caramel flavoring and coffee flavoring) and they both just came out horrendous. It tasted so bad that I emptied the entire bottle into the sink because there was going to be absolutely no way I could drag on it. The question is, how much is too much flavoring? Say I'm making a 3mL bottle of juice.. Is 0.75 mL too much flavoring to add? Do the LorAnn flavorings go by the rule "a drop'll do ya?" How potent ARE these flavorings to where you know enough is enough?

I guess those are pretty much the only questions I have... I just don't want to keep mixing these LorAnn flavors if most of them are going to turn out duds and I end up wasting all of this expensive Nicotine juice.

Thanks!

for throat hit: more nic increases throat hit. also adding everclear or another pure grain alcohol will do this.

for flavor: it's usually based on personal taste, and it differs between flavors. experiment with small batches, like 1-2ml. i just takes some trial and error. for me, i use 30% flavoring if i'm using something weak like mango. but i only need about 5% of cherry. it's always different depending on specific flavor, as well as brand of flavoring.

it's always better to start with LESS flavoring, than to start with more. if something is weak in flavor, add a few more drops and see how it is. also make sure you are testing your mixes in a clean atomizer, so that old flavors don't blend in.

0.75 mL is about 25 % flavor, and that for most flavors is too much. My juices are 10% flavor or less. Some Loranns are not great no matter what you use. I like Capella's flavors too, and some capellas are better than the same Lorann flavor, but it depends on the person.

Throat hit is increased by:

Increasing PG to VG ratio (PG is more drying and makes more TH as a result)
Increasing nic
Thinning a thick VG juice with vodka or PGA or distilled water (less with the water)
A properly wicking cart...actually very important!!
A properly functioning atty...also very important!

Good luck and let us know what you find out!

keep in mind the more stuff you add you lose the nic lvl.
If you hoping that what you are getting is 24 nic lets say, and you are using a 24 nic juice then adding your losing a bit. Are you using a ejuice calculator? eJuice Recipe Calculator this is the one I like to use. give it a try see if it helps.

Tip for coffee flavor: do not use Lorann Coffee; use Lorann Keoke Coffee.

Word. Lorann coffee seems to be the one flavor everyone agrees on...it is not very good. The keoke coffee is very good though, and when mixed with Capella Double Chocolate is amazing. Lorann chocolate is also, to me, not very good.
