I've posted this once, but it was in the suppliers forum, and I wanted to know what our good general populace viewpoint on it was.

Hey all,


I have a couple American friends that live in Shenzhen right now, and I'm planning on going back (I use to live there) in a week or two. I'm thinking of going to visit some of these factories and try to setup a e-liquid store with all the flavors available as well as a custom flavor section (monthly or bi-weekly customer input and voting polls for new recipe flavors).

What do you all think? This is somthing that I'm not trying to make a bunch of money on, but more of thinking of our community needs. I know most of the people are out there in competition but it's also about getting everyone all the items we need for our vaping. Plus with the people there I might be able to secure some more solid transportation lines out of China that do not route thru Hong Kong.

If you could get good strong flavors and be able to keep your stock up and not run out on a regular basis I bet you would do VERY well and would do alot of business.

The superstore method is the way to go with the whole e-cig industry...having loads of different online suppliers of the same product under different brand names isn't going to work.

Unfortunately so far the factories I've been conversing with don't do anything above a 36mg but I have found one willing to try. But they can do the unflavored 36mg easy, that you could add to weaker flavored bottles you might have sitting around.

What are some of the flavors that you members are having trouble getting in that you like so much?

It's not so much the flavors that have been scarce, but the larger bottles, i.e. 50ml and above.

That would have me sold in a heartbeat.

Flavors can vary, I think the big thing is keeping stock. If the flavors are good and you have stock all the time "They Will Come".

If you're thinking about custom flavours, how about a kit containing a big bottle of unflavoured liquid and a few little bottles of flavouring essences so we can mix our own using the same flavours the manufacturers do? You could call it something like the Mixmaster Special and sell it to all us wannabe mix-your-own types.

I would say if they modify a "generic" model in a useful way, more than just Aesthetic looks, they deserve to create a brand name.

Now a repainted painted generic or just renamed generic, thats pretty lame. I agree once people catch on that will FAIL.

If you can get the essences why cant you make a NON PG RY4 juice, using 36mg nic No Flavor VG Mixing e-Liquid + RY4 essence?

VG RY4 would outsell most other juice.

Besides having all the flavors being available to all, it is always having enough of everything not to disappoint and have people going elsewhere.
Look at PS, within an hour he was out of stock, no fault of Steve's just crazy people like us, never having enough. We are all in fear that we will run out of product and have to wait forever to replenish.
If you can purchase massive qty's and build your inventory and then develop flavors for personal orders, as does some of the Chinese suppliers, of course with min. qty's, whatever it is. I would spend $300.00 to $500.00 at anytime to secure my position. As would many others, that are in that position Same with products. I buy many different items, to secure that I am never without.
Back in the day of analogs, I would go to the corner store and buy my smokes, I cannot do that today. But the thought of not having, is enough to scare me into making large commitments
I know I am just rambling on, but this industry is about to explode beyond anything we have seen, especially here in the states, that we all need to prepare to make sure we are provided for, Just look at this forum and the size it is growing into, everyday

Thank you everyone for your comments so far, Don't go ruining all my surprises with the master mixes you all take all the fun out of trying to create a surprise!!!! Anyway I'll try to have a few more interesting items of note up my sleeve.

Again I'm not doing this for a bunch of profit, hell if I get a free bottle once a month I'm happy! I want to help out our small (but growing super hugely fast) community so that it eases pressure and feeling of "MUST BY 500 bottles before they go out" type of situation.

Any more idea's throw them up here, I'm going to walk in with a very specific set of items to discuss with the factories when I arrive in Shenzhen.

Hey count me in on the people to let know when you're up and running. I'm still experimenting with the flavors. I enjoy the cola and good strong coffee flavors.

I cant imagine why anyone would have trouble finding vg ry4... Any of the factories would make that for you without a problem.

They may make VG RY4 but no suppliers have asked for it. No sites have it and sell it. VG is the craze right now, stocks of PG are in here and there but stocks of VG are no where except JC.

Unless you can place an order at a factory $$$ then your making your own using mix or handling raw nic.

Yes but we've already found some companies willing to do straight flavor pre-mix in order to do the kits, so it won't be a huge issue, it's getting the right flavors that are most popular to people out there, due to the fact that order every flavor enough for what 500+ kits on the outside, would be a huge up front expense, that's why I want to start with the more common flavors and get peoples input on which flavors they would like to see for this. Also would everyone like a choice of PG or VG in their kits, and maybe make it a standard 24 or 36mg unflavored nic liquid?
