Hello all,

I'm relatively new to this, started vaping in February 2014. I've had several e-liquids that have turned dark so I'm wondering if it was bad juice or i'm storing it incorrectly.

I also purchased some gourmet juices that only lasted a month or so before they totally lost their flavor. In particular, I purchased Virgin Vapor's Organic Death By Chocolate and Organic Buttercream Mint that lost their taste and have a batch date of 2/25/14.

Is there a way I should be storing my e-juices that will help them last until they're gone? I ask this because I just bought some of Zen's Reserve and they only come in 50ml bottles. 2 flavors = 100ml which will take some time to vape away. I love the juice and want it to last until it's gone lol...

Should (or could) I refrigerate it maybe?

Thanks

Stored well they should last at least a year, depending on the juice. I just filled up a tank of ~18 month old juice that still tastes great.

Some people do refrigerate/freeze, but anywhere cool and dark should be good enough. I keep mine in a box in my desk drawer. The biggest thing is keeping bottles away from sunlight

Some juices darken as they steep. With some you can tell when they're ready when they've gotten dark enough. Some may take a couple of months until they reach tneir full flavor. I can't imagine a juice crafted only 2 months ago would be at the end if it's life. It should be reaching it's prime.

Ah, I see...

I just smelled the liquid that turned really dark and it does still smell pretty good. Unfortunately, I just tried it in a stingray 510 dripping atomizer and there's absolutely no taste to it at all. It is something that I got from a no-name (wanna be) vape shop in town here so I doubt that it's something of any quality. I think I'll toss it...

As far as the Virgin Vapors goes, I was vaping it exclusively for a while, maybe it was that dreaded "vapors tongue" with just those two flavors? I haven't touched them in a while so I'll put them in a dark place for a while and re-visit them at a later date...

Thanks all :)
