hi mate,

but we are not talking about cigarettes.......we are talking about the stuff that keeps us of them! lol :D

and don't be fooled by the scaremongering regarding chinese e-liquid......their manufacturing facilities are extremely high tech and safety and hygiene are paramount

i bet the chinese manufactures have far higher safety standards than the guys who make up their e-liquid in the bathroom to sell to people! :p

check out this vid as an example:-

personally, i only ever really vape the chinese stuff as i much prefer it.....especially the tobacco flavours :D

yes, while the cleanliness is reassuring, what I worry most about is that they don't seem to have the same standards regarding toxins. So, how do I know that the water they use isn't loaded with some nasty chemical...what about toys that come with lead paint in them from China....

I imaging if V4L is overseeing production, the quality is good, but there may companies that cut corners, etc.....

....bathrooms? is this for real?

You know how you guarantee what goes into your juice? You make your own. I don't know why everyone doesn't do it. No more overspending to find out what you like you can make it today and vape it today. No more waiting, stalking your mailman, or any of that garbage. I ordered like 50 bucks worth of stuff and I'll have 6 months of vaping any way I like in just a couple more days. My biggest problem will be figuring out what I want to vape next and how I can mix flavors for something truly spectacular. I mean virgin wee (see my previous post) is nice and all but I'm content to do things my way. It's more fun when you find the virgin yourself for quality control purposes.

Warning/Disclaimer: The following comment is highly political/economical in nature. If that bothers you then don't read it. This is my opinion. Do with it what you will but don't take it personally.

In response to Igetcha's vid:
I don't care if I make any friends with what I'm about to say but I am not going to swallow the lies and be like, "OK I'll buy Chinese juice now!"

Concerning that video and the challenge issued: The challenge is over before it starts. US liquid is made in backwater shacks because all of our manufacturing jobs are already in China... How about the video that concerns that guy's company and how it's probably 10 guys in suits in America constantly flying back and forth to China to make sure everything is running smoothly and how they do so to cut costs and make sure they get the most profits while exploiting ex-smokers for their addiction? They call them sweatshops because those 10 guys in suits are making straight bank of millions of dollars a year while those 1000 chinese guys are making 10 cents a day and working 7 days a week at 12 hour days. It doesn't matter if they are clean or not. It doesn't need to be dirty to be a sweatshop. The dirt may not be in the facility - it's in the business practice. This video is just propaganda like they are the good guys. They're not.

To that I say: don't buy Chinese juice, make your own with AMERICAN base ingredients. If you don't like how it tastes try adding stuff or diluting it until you do. You only have yourself to blame if it turns out poorly. There's going to be a learning curve, don't get discouraged. At least you'll save money (even with the loss of screw ups) and all your spending will stay in the American economy. You quit smoking cigs that you bought from American companies and now you want to buy Chinese stuff to replace it? There are so many levels of wrong to that. I've got nothing wrong with sticking it to the big tobacco companies but at least keep the money in the same country. We owe China enough money as it is. Why give them even more?

Besides most of the places you get that stuff (like The Perfumer's Apprentice) are small businesses run by everyday people. Why not help the middle class? Every time a chinese product is bought (that could have been bought in America instead) an American flag somewhere loses a star; A National Anthem singer misses a note; A Stars and Stripes Forever is Forever-1.

There, I said my piece.
Shoga out.

with the greatest of respect, this isn't about the US economy or slave labour........this is about people wrongly suggesting that the chinese factories have no quality control, no hygiene standards and like to urinate in the e-liquid for a giggle, lol

more examples of chinese e-cig manufacturing facilities:-

the sad truth is that there are hardly any suppliers in the UK or USA that are manufacturing their e-liquids in the same laboratory conditions primarily because they are largely home run businesses.......only ones i can think of are DecadentVapours and JohnsonCreek

No offense to you, brother. I mean only the highest respect to you, a fellow youtuber. What I am getting it is that the pinnacle of ejuice isn't from a manufacturer (no matter how clean - and especially from China) but rather at home with a DIY setup. You go ahead and prove that China is clean I will go right ahead and prove that DIY (with American materials if you are American) is best. There is room for the both of us. I agree that there is nothing wrong with the quality of Chinese Ejuice. I have heard nothing but nice about DK's 555 and RY4. But I will disagree 100% of the time for American vapers who were former smokers that kept their money in the American economy buying smokes for god knows how long and then suddenly shipping their business to China. There are alternatives and I am here to prove that. Keep your money local. We aren't protesting in NY and across the nation for no reason. The American Middle Class needs all the help it can get. I can understand that you are from the U.K. and need to take your own path but America has its own problems. We don't have a "quiet desperation" like you guys.

So, I'm home from work due to the weather and what am I doing but pouring through ECF, again!

So, I think I will need to reconsider my statement that I wouldn't trust anything coming out of China given the info provided by Igetchya. It seems there is excellence and half-assed on both sides of the planet. And Shoganinga also makes a good point that if one really wants to be sure of what thery're putting in their body, they might consider DIY.

I can't say I agree that I would buy American only to keep jobs in America...not that I don't want our country to be successful, but because I see us living in ONE WORLD. This IS a global economy and we can't expect any longer to do well at the expense of others (never should have anyway). There are no "others".

This is also my humble opinion and I do respect the thoughts and opinions of others, so am not trying to put out someone elses light. I do thought, want to present a balanced view.

@Damselle

very well put :)

@ShogaNinja

i love your passion and I'm really pleased that you enjoy your DIY mixes.......i also appreciate the cost savings and peace of mind that you refer to as well! :D

but I've got to be honest......i don't have a clue why you are telling me that as i have not said anything to the contrary! lol

well, i certainly don't recall saying anything bad about the things you covered?

the ONLY reason i posted here was because a false assumption that the chinese add ammonia to their e-liquid was made simply because someone felt that their e-liquid smelled a little like wee! i was then further prompted to post because people were under the impression that anything produced in china has been manufactured in conditions that are dirty, unregulated and breach any health and safety constraints

the ONLY thing i have therefore been trying to prove is that china gets a very bad rep from scaremongering (i.e. the chinese add ammonia to their e-liquid to speed up the absorption of nicotine) and has a lot of false stigmas attached to it as a result of the scaremongering

in no way, shape or form have i suggested that chinese juice is best, better or worse than any other e-liquid........im just trying to show that it IS produced in decent laboratory conditions rather than in a factory filled with decapitated cats and men randomly urinating everywhere which is how some people seem to perceive it :D lol

cheers

totally agree mate :)

after all, in my old TW Ginseng review i described the smell of the liquid as "smells like tramps feet"

so should i now assume that Totally Wicked hunt down tramps, cut off their feet and then boil them to extract "Tramps feet essence"? lol :p

Actually they'd NOT want to do that, would run out too often - the better way would be to heat VG with tramp's feet and absorb the flavor that way, keep the tramp's around for later use no hunting "new tramps" for every order ! ;)

The school I worked at had cheap packets of syrup for their pancakes. The cheap artificial maple flavoring made the whole gym (lunch room) smell like wee + maple. Some people couldn't smell the "wee" odor, but more than half the staff could smell it. It seemed to depend on whether you were in the gym while they were eating or came in later. If you came in later, the "wee" smell was more pronounced. Could the flavor you bought have some artificial maple flavor in it?

I agree with you 100% but I am also reminding Americans of what they are doing when they choose Chinese over American.
I am glad you posted that video for those of us who like China. I am simply taking the podium on the opposite side of the stage and saying GO AMERICAN! :)

Keep vaping the good vape, brother. :vapor:

Unsolicited proof that the FDA is trying to kill us in 30 years or so and as such is not to be trusted:

Next time you sit down at a plate of pancakes take a look at the bottle of syrup. What's that?! It's made out of pure high fructose corn syrup with artificial flavorings? That's basically pure fat in a bottle because that's going to turn into glucose along with the refined flour of the pancakes (+ you ever look at the sodium in pancake mix?!) and it's going straight on your abs (mmm hypertension, diabetes and obesity). BTW: Real Maple Syrup sells for around 20 bucks a quart. The FDA is trying to kill people. Not today or tomorrow but in 30 years from hypertension, heart attacks, diabetes, obesity, strokes, and cancer.

I don't eat pancakes but a few times a year but I use real maple syrup and I make my own mix out of whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, sugar in the raw(tubinado), cinnamon (real cinnamon btw not that fake stuff they can legally label as cinnamon that is toxic to you), oats, and blueberries. I fry them in Earth Balance (vegan butter). They are so much better tasting and better for you (well as good as pancakes can be for you). You ever eat raw pancake mix? It's gross right? Well my pancake mix is awesome to eat raw, it tastes like cookies lol. So, in short, DIY juice is not the only thing I make for myself because it's better to know what goes into it. If any of that sounded good PM me and I'll give you the recipe.
