E-liquid Sponges?

I got a buddy of mine turned on to vaping a few weeks ago and he went nutters with how much he ordered. He read just about any site that contained ANY e-cig related product and ordered any of it that was compatible with his 510 (what I suggested he get).

He told me the other day that he ordered some sponges to put in his 510 carts that were pre-filled. Has anyone used/heard of these things?

Prefilled, I haven't heard of, but people use Blue Foam aquarium filter material with success. I've used Buff-Puff facial sponges. Regular sponge will not release its liquid well. Don't think there are prefilled ones, since you have to squeeze them to get them into the cart. Blue Foam is reputed to be worlds better than stock poly fill. As smokum said, there are entire forums devoted to this on ECF.

I ran across a thread on the site for using teabags as altenative filler mat the thread actually included some vids of how to do it, The vendor who I purchased my kit from actually offers them for sale as an accessory and I was able to order some with my 510 kit. I wanted to try some that someone with experience at the mod prepared before I attempted it myself. I am totally happy with them and plan on doing my carts this way in the future. I am very happy with the performance
