Ethyl alcohol is ethanol, the stuff that people can drink.

Ethanol is very common to help thin out VG mixes, for people who are PG-sensitive, as 100% VG blends are too thick to vape.

The other thing that can thin out VG is distilled water, though it takes more of it, compared to ethanol, to get a given result (thinning the liquid out).

Many "all VG" eliquids, at least several years ago, would have been better called "0 PG" as they had some mix of ethanol and/or distilled water.

Ethanol is very common in the flavorings that at least some of us use. I use organic flavorings that use ethanol as a carrier, instead of PG.

There's no risk of getting drunk off of eliquid with some ethanol in it -- the amounts are trivially small.

If something smells a bit too perfumey, leave the cap off the eliquid bottle over night, some of the alcohol will evaporate off; you can also have a desk fan blow across the top of the open bottle, to speed this up. Later, recap the bottle, shake it to keep things well mixed.

I've never heard of anyone hurt by vaping eliquid with the levels of alcohol used. I've been around a while, all my DIY (which is all I vape) has alcohol-based flavorings.

Thanks for all the information. I've tried a lot of different E-liquids, I'm pretty sure I've had some with out even knowing it. I've seen several companies that provide their ingredients (I like that) and some have ethyl alcohol in them. Now I feel more confident in trying some of these other flavors. Thanks again!
