E liquids, are they homogenous?

Do the components of eliquids stay homogenous while in the container or do any of the components separate out (float/sink)? Is it possible that at the start of use of a new container of Iiquid you might pour or drip more of only one of the components? At the end of a container would the same happen, only now a different component? Considering the specific gravities of the components, is this possible?

Should a bottle of e liquid be shaken well before each use?

Yes eliquid should be shaken before using. And some are more homogenous than others, depends on the ingredients used.
