Yes...we got them in today and I will be putting up on the site in a bit...they will be avaliable as an extra spare kit you can purchase by themselves or in addition to the e-POWER 14650 1050 mah kit...

Will that shorten the length of the unit by about 10mm or so?

Yes...we got them in today and I will be putting up on the site in a bit...they will be avaliable as an extra spare kit you can purchase by themselves or in addition to the e-POWER 14650 1050 mah kit...

No--actually we suggested and they implemented for us a new spring affixed in the 14500 tubes to accomodate a 14500 battery So same tube differetn spring setup...
