You shouldn't have any trouble running the 1.7 Resurrectors on the 14650 as far as the E-Power goes. I'm beginning to not like the Resurrectors myself though.
My 14650 has been taking a beating for a month and a half without any problems.

The switch problem was on the 18650. They supposably fixed it. I hear if you get the new ones with the hard plastic button, you'll be good to go.

...if I may, what are you starting to not like about the Resurrectors..........:2cool:

Mine is starting to do it on a 2 ohm Boge carto now. It seems like there is something wrong with it.

I might have to do some surgery to look in the switch and see what's going on. This is beyond annoying

I'm also starting to think you're loosing connection in the switch assembly. Have you contacted your vendor?

Edit: My understanding is that a 1.5 atty or carto should not void the warranty. The 1.25 or something like that does.

Thats strange.. I'm running just the standard UltraFire 14650 from madvapes and have never had any issues with LR. I only use Boge 2.0 and the 1.5ohm dual coils and I can hold the button down for 15-20 seconds without issue. Never even blinked at me. Which is interesting because I've had tons of other problems with my e-power.

I'm interested as well, i have some on the way from CCV to hopefully replace my Boge's..

Most above had it correct, I think.

Dual coils (2 x 3.2 ohm coils) are 1.6 ohms +/- variance. Same issue with them as LR 1.5 ohm atties. The switch only "knows" the net ohms... actually current draw..... it has no idea how many coils are in the thing. So yeah... 2.0 ohms might work. The batteries can vary too on their cutoffs. So it can be either A) battery cutoff or B) switch cutoff.

If IMR's don't matter... it's the switch for sure. 3.7 volts with a 2.0 ohm atty/carto is 6.845 watts... not too bad.

Just some numbers for reference:

3.7 volts:

ohms............watts.........amps
---------------------------------------
.....LR 1.5.....9.1..........2.5
.....DC 1.6....8.56........2.3
Other 2.0.....6.8..........1.85
Other 2.5.....5.5..........1.5

Hey switches may vary too....

I'm curious how this turns out.

P.S. Food for thought... when these electronics start to wear out... they get finicky. (switch mosfet or battery pcb). Also, CLEAN THE THREADS ON BOTH SIDES. I've had even my 5 volt mods act funny if there was juice in the atty connector and there's just enough wetness there to cause a minor current flow, further reducing the resistance, thus cutting out faster.

I've had my 14650 for nearly 3 months and have had no problems running LR cartos from the very beginning. About a month ago, I got a new switch and body from Madvapes for about $24.00 and since I had extra batteries, I now have two. The new switch has that blinking cutoff at about 6 seconds on the draw. The original in the kit, never cuts off. I get a good day and a half before I need to charge even with the Resurrectors, which is what I run most of the time. I also got a couple of 510-510 adapters and use the EMDCC as well, without problems. Crystal Clear Vaping is now carrying replacement switches with the hard plastic button for $9.50. I think the buttons may be part of the problem with connection issues.
