E8 followed by E2

Well... an E8 means that a fault has been identified and can be caused by a carto or atty. E2 means current limit exceeded. Have you checked your carto ohms? It sounds like it's trying to tell you that you have a faulty carto.. I've got this before when the carto had shorted out and was measuring super low ohms. It could also be that your carto isn't wet enough. Make double sure your carto is saturated all the way down, then use the AO feature. I use the condom fill method to ensure that my carto is filled from the bottom up. I've never had a dry, burnt hit since. If the carto is too dry, it can measure lower ohms and cause an error code. The error codes are there to alert us that something isn't right and needs fixing. The Provari is protecting itself and you.
