I recently got a buddy of mine turned on to vaping, but I guess he wasn't really paying attention when I told him what model to order, because he ended up with an E9 kit from e-cig.com. He likes it, but he wants more cartos and he wants to get them from the US this time. E9 is the "weird" 2-piece system that is really close to KR808, but just different enough that you can't use regular KR808 parts. The only shops that I know of that carry them are the silly-expensive, sketchy sites like smoke51 and red dragon.

Does anybody carry generic E9 cartos and batteries for a reasonable price?

Only site I found selling E9 cartos for a reasonable price: Cartomizers E9/V9 Compatible

Trying to convince my buddy that his best bet is to cut his losses now and switch to something more common, like the KR808. Sooner or later he's going to want a mod or a PT and since they don't even make thread adapters for E9, he'll be SOL.

Hah, I can relate. I barely stopped my own mother from ordering a 'free trial' e-cig and that was after my speech..lol

I don't keep an eye on E9 parts but I do remember seeing some US stores carrying them at a reasonable price..question is where... Nhaler carries them, although the link you have is cheaper.

If I think of anymore I'll post them. In the end you're probably right. A 808 or 510 w/ carto would offer more options by far.

LeCig carries cartos--D2 model
Bloog carries pass-thrus for them in their clearance section on their site, X9 i believe is the model not the fusion. Be aware that these PTs are not reliable.
I made the mistake of buying Smoke 51 to start but the parts I listed work with it-slowly moving to the D1 line.
I have purchased some 808 D1 cartos as I make my transition that have worked with the E9 thread although a little sloppy but still efficient
Would agree though, cut the losses and move to the 808 D1-lots more suppliers.

And the new Kr8 cartos (e.g., Vapor4Life's Premium, VaporNine's Turbo, and CigEasy's Gold Label Deluxe) churn out the vapor like the E9s are purported to (at least that is how Leaford used to rave about them).

Also, the Kr8 battery is the best skinny (non-mod) battery (280 mAh and true 3.7V). I use it for my Kr8 cartos (of course), 901 attys (no adapter required), and 801 attys (with inexpensive adapter).

I just don't understand why no one makes adapters for E9/ltv9(KR808D-2) to KR808D-1 parts?

Seems like a no brainer to me, ESPECIALLY since e-cig type products are the most marketed. You can find E9 type products in nearly every mini market. Perhaps Cixi e-Cig Technology, Ltd should wise up and make adapters theirselves to the boost sales of their own products which customers combine with other products.

Just a thought.

I agree with you 110%. I'm also looking for an adapter for e9 to 510 battery. I guess I have to take the battery thread off my e9 and make a mod to finish vaping all the extra cartomizer that I bought with it.

I have to tell you.. I love the D-2, E9, Smoke 51 cartos...not the mall vendor but the carts.

Here is a link with all the E9 compatible cartos...It also shows others.
Atomizer Compatibility List - E-Cigarette Wiki

I made a variable voltage D2 mod and I have to say that the D2 carto at 4.3 volts is great.

But..I understand that not too many people are on the D2 bandwagon.

Lecig does carry D2 carts and batteries and I have been very happy with them.

I put out a post asking for dead D2 batteries so I could make more mods, I need the battery connector, but I did not get any answers.

I am still looking for dead D2 batteries to use.

I have two D2 batteries that I really like. I think they last longer and provide more punch than the D1's. Unfortunately, everyone has jumped on the D1 bandwagon, so it is tough to find supplies.
