Yep, looks like the same issue others have reported. The space above the threads in your atty's 510 connection was not milled out so there's no way you could screw it down flush on your EA :(

If I were you I'd look into possibly threading the rest of the connection on your atty. I wonder if there is a die out there for cutting 510 threads, or if 510 threads are a common enough thread that maybe a hardware store would have the cutter you would need...

Sorry I can't be more help, looks like fixing this issue would require a bit of machine work.

As for cleaning, I've just been polishing it with Brasso, but I'm gonna have to give DeoxIT a try, as per Bemini. Any idea where to buy it locally?

Many Radio Shacks have a spray version of it on hand. If you have any electronic component stores (as opposed to TV/Stereo/toys) in your area, you might give them a call.

You could also try a musical instrument store. I think musicians use it on their mixers, amps, pedals, etc...

Hey y'all. A friend sent me over here. I had a threading problem with my AC9; and I have read of some folks having a similar problem with some of the more recent RSSTs. The solution, for me, was to search amazon for a die, to possibly go over the threads on the RBA, because it appeared that they weren't cut deep enough. The correct size for the die is 7mm x .5. Once I went over the threads, the RBA screwed into my PV perfectly. 7mm x .5 is standard 510 thread size. Good tool to have around.

It's a RSST

Thanks donnah, it's definitely the atty. The Cobra sits flush as can be.

Where did you get it from? I love my EA.. I love the simplicity of it. I have a Roller and it's actually more comfortable to hold and use.. the button is soo smooth, but that smooth button comes with a price.. It's full of tiny parts that's not fun to take apart to clean. Congrats on your new toy :D
Picked it up at VapeDudes price was a little high, but they had it in stock, shipping was fast, and I really wanted an EA.

electricangel.fi is the only place that I know of to get them. Eric may have found them somewhere else.

Yup it's in the US, but I don't think they are registered here. They have like 3 b&ms in California. I googled electric angel airflow and their site came up.

Well my EA took a turn for the worse tonight.. I went to take the positive post insulator out tonight and the base of it broke off. So now there's a sleeve of plastic in my top cap and nothing to hold the pin in place :/

I could have sworn I'd taken that piece out before. Is it glued in place like the plastic in the bottom cap?

The EA site is actually charging 3.20 more.

The EA site drops tax when you register with a US address, it comes out to about the same if you shipped it priority from vapor lab. That includes int shipping.

I'd do the EA site to add in an additional positive pin but either way works.

For the life of me I couldn't find out how to register on EA's site... :/

I ended up ordering a whole new top cap from Vaporescence. There is the absolute minimum amount of info provided. I am really really hoping this c ap comes with the plastic sleeve in it, and it would be great if it came with another pos pin too but I'm guessing it wont.

*edit - according to EA's site their replacement caps do come with the plastic insert and o-ring but not a new pos post. So I'm guessing Vaporescence is the same.

I got my EA from the Vaporescence store in person. I should of called them to ask if they had the airflow caps.
