Well today I dropped a dime or should I say about 2000 dimes on an Electric Angel. Can't wait for it to get here. I hope my motto will hold true "You get what you Pay for", holds true and I think it will after all I have read on the EA.

You shouldnt have that problem since its a floating pin. Just screw on the rsst first

I have an 1/8 inch gap on my EA with the RSST. The threads on the RSST are crap. The only mods it'll screw all the way down on are the ones made in China (eVic, Vamo, and the eGo batteries). Luckily the EA's positive post compensates for that. Just looks a little weird. Have 2 more RSSTs on order and I'm hoping they got this thread issue fixed now.
By the way, a 7mm x .5 thread cutter fits the threads. Haven't put mine in a vise yet to run the thread cutter all the way down the connection.
So i have no issues with my RSST sitting flush with my EA mod but i'm hearing a ton about the AC9 not sitting flush with the EA mod, am i doomed? (The AC9 will be here in a couple days.)
As I type this I am realizing this post isn't EA Mod specific but I have an EA Mod and it happened because of the floating center pin in my EA Mod.. so here we go..
I found an ideal solution for the busted insulator in the bottom of my AGA.. one of the #60 o-rings I picked up when I was waiting on my VAMO to arrive, anticipating I'd one day have to do the Lo ohm error fix.. that day has not yet come
I don't think it would work as well to replace the top insulator and I don't know how well these o-rings will withstand heat but this seems to be a perfect fit to replace the bottom insulator.
It looks a bit big at first but once the o-ring is seated in the connector the positive post fits nice and snug.

Can everyone list where they bought their EA mod from?
These things are all over the charts. I had one that fit everything BUT my Roller. So I managed to work the roller connection so that it would accept my RSST. Good deal, now the Roller connection will fit all RSST's right? NOPE. Thinking it would, I ordered another and received it today. It fits my cheapo Drawtube which I use in the shop but will not thread onto the EA OR the Roller. It won't even thread onto an Ego.
I bought #1331 with its sunburst logo directly from Electric Angel. Ordered May 14, delivered May 20. Quite fast!
They put the sunburst logo on the mod now? That makes me want another one.
I ordered mine straight from EA back in January, and got #270.
I've polished the contacts quite a bit (and removed the glue from the gronding post so I can clean it easier), but... still my main mod!
