Yeah, I started with a 510 initially. Mainly because that is the only model that is sold locally and, when I decided to try an e-cig, I wanted it "today!" After about 2 days I bought two more batteries because I found that I had to keep them cycling on the charger constantly. I dropped the analogs on the day I got the 510 so I didn't want to end up with all batteries flat-lined at the same time. BTW, I had to drive 50 miles to get the 510's so I was concerned that, if I ran out of batteries, I'd give up the battle and go back to analogs.)
I did just about the same thing. I paid 55.00 for a "starter kit" at a local smoke shop because i as well wanted it today and the battery wouldn't last a whole day at work so i had to buy back up analogs, then blew the atty 3 days later but instead of buying more batts i just ordered an ego kit for 66.00 which came with 2 batts and attys and have never looked back.
