I absolutely second the Halo eliquid (Google for website - also their Triton starter kit). You can buy sample packs from them as well - the tins are really useful for keeping clearomizers in afterwards:vapor: Most of the people I run across in vape shops vape at 6mg, because of the equipment they use...

Thats cool. My local shop didn't have much to offer for weak sauce. - I told you this was a rough neighborhood.

Any advice is helpful, xthing1. I've been at this for a week and am back at square one, so you are way ahead of me already!

I am a Marlboro Gold (Light) smoker. I hate to admit it out loud, but I'm a 1-2 pack a day smoker. I love to smoke. The whole PG/VG thing is still greek to me. I'll have to do some more research on that subject.

My main concern is getting past the sick feeling. When did that sick feeling pass for you? I am probably vaping the same amount, which is constantly. I know you can't treat these devices like a cigarette, but it's a reflex thing. I am invested in this 100%. I have an extra Kanger in case I need a backup piece, or a lower ml liquid on hand packed and ready to go for night time. That is my plan, anyway.

I have my Kanger dialed in at 4.0 which I think is perfect for me. Hits well. Any higher is too much, any lower is too little. Does that dial effect the vapor or nicotine delivery? or both? Not sure what purpose the dial actually does for vaping.

My first vape I took on 24ml, and after awhile I tried a cigarette and I could taste the ill of it, too.

I'm going back and forth between vaping and smoking, getting the feel for the vape and gaining the confidence & familiarity to use it exclusively. I need a new juice, because this brand starts getting to me after awhile with a bad aftertaste. I will try steeping it today.

Daisey I smoked the same ones as you but only about a pack a day. I started with a disposable, which I still have, to see if I liked it or not. The couple of days I used the disposable I had 3 or 4 analogs. I did notice that the analogs got worse and worse tasting. Since I got my real vapor, still confused on exactly what type it is, I haven't had any. So far so good no sick feelings or anything. Keep at it and I'm sure you'll get thru it.

Dakota Jim. When you make your own juice, do you ever use natural flavors? Have you come across a bourbon flavor in your catalogue of goodies? I've seen rum and whiskey but not a bourbon as of yet.

I got bourbon as a 15ml free sample from MBV (Best E Cigarette | Buy Electronic Cigarettes | E Cig Juice - MT Baker Vapor). It tastes bourbon-y.

I was a pack-a-day smoker, and really, I vape much more than I smoked. Nicotine absorption is a lot less in vapor than with cigs, so I would question if that was the cause of your nausea.

I wasn't debating it - just suggesting that there may be more to it.

I do recall a slightly nauseous feeling on one of the first couple nights I started vaping. It ended up going away on its own, with no changes on my part.

I started at 25mg also, and quickly moved down to 18mg. After the first full month, I moved down to 12mg, where I am right now.

Good luck!

I got a bottle of 24mg with my kit. I didn't notice any nauseous effects. I managed to drop the stinky habit right away. I just have a vape when I get the urge to smoke. I have now cut back to 12mg. I go to the local B&M and sample to find flavors that I like. So far, so good. Good luck with your efforts.

I smoked the same brand as you, a pad+. When I first started vaping I did not drink enough water and I did get light headed and a little nausea the first few days. I started with 24mg Halo liquid and that got me off cigs.

The person at my B&M store gave me some very good advice and it worked for me. He said vape and if you feel like having a regular cigarette--then have one. I started with that in mind and somehow I was down to 2 to 3 cigarettes a week after the first two weeks. After the third week--down to none.

I think that in my mind, knowing that when I wanted one --I would smoke one, made me want them less. With me it is sometimes a 'mind' thing.

The nausea went away fairly quickly, but occasionally I would vape my way to a headache. I think along the way you find your personal style, and all is well.

I learned a lot by reading everything I could here at ECF, when you have a problem, you will likely find the answers here.

Good luck with your vaping journey!!
