Hi I dont know about everyone else but when I got my E cig the first thing i did was to buy every flavour the shop sold as I was so excited about what these things can do!

Only thing is the shop sales person didnt say if your going to stick all them in the same atty ( atomiser) then you will ruin it as once i had run menthol through it that was all i could taste in it from there on. I dont know why I even tried it as i have never liked menthol cigs! lol I also read somewhere that it takes a while for the full flavour to come through and I should try to use just one flavour per atty.

So maybe you should get an atty for each flavour? Im currently on Tabbaco and mixing in some coffee it tastes nicer than the actual coffee i drink at home! :p

Give it an alcohol bath...it will help remove the previous flavor but menthol will take awhile. I did the samething when I started. Yes, you need to get some more atomizers. You will need them as they will eventually burn up.

Glad you like your ecig and try different vendors out. No everyone makes the same flavor the same way.

Hi Donk - i know what you mean regarding liquids. I was horrified to find, when i ordered 5 different flavours, that when i tried them they tasted soooooo strongly. They were almost unpalatable. A couple of weeks later and they tasted much much more like they probably should've.

Now, for me, i'm not too worried about this flavour contaminating that flavour. It does make for some odd tasting vaping for a short while. But, as i say, i'm not too bothered about it. I suppose you could use a different atty for each flavour. But suppose you like 8 or 9 flavours. Thats a lot of different attys to keep labelled there....lol.
What i've graduated towards is to "blend sympathetically" (<-- i like that). So if i'm vaping coffee and i want a change i'll fill up with caramel. Sure there is still a taste of the coffee but it works well with the caramel until it goes completely. Then from the caramel i may want to spike it with a little menthol. So i'll fill with 6 drips of caramel and 3 of menthol. Then if i want a tobacco i change the atty. So i have 2 attys on the go. One thats anything goes and one thats tobacco/ry4.

Some will be horrified with my lax and overly casual approach.....so ? It works fine for me.

You do what ever you find works for you. A lot of trial and error i think lies ahead for you....lol.

Something that Del Boy pointed out is good to mention. If you don't like a flavor right now, let it sit in a cool dark place for a couple weeks and then try it again (I know your fairly new to this and want to try everything but have patience). If your juices are made fresh to order, the flavoring needs time to blend with the nic, pg, and vg. Once a juice blends/steeps, it shows it true flavor.

Ok this is seriously good to know. When I wrote to Customer Service regarding the last two orders from DirectECig - 1st disappointing order 10 pack 8mg Marlboro flavored prefilled carts and 10ml bottle of e-liquid same flavor\strength and second disappointing order, 30ml same flavor strength as above - that they tasted nothing like the first 10 pre-filled carts that came with starter kit NOR did they taste like the next order which was a 30ml bottle (those first carts and 30ml bottle tasted GREAT!!) Their response was that I may have gotten an order which "sat in our ware house too long".

So I'm a bit confused now! It tastes better if it sits a while but if it sits too long it starts to taste like crap??? These last two orders definitely have a sort of stale cigarette taste while the first orders didn't taste like cigarettes at all but had a flavor that was sooooo addicting. I have now been Jonesing to find this same taste again! I've gotten new atomizers, cleaned my old ones in alchohol and so on. Still taste the same. Like stale Ultra Light cigarettes. LOL Their only solution was that I could try another bottle and they didn't offer to send me one for free so I suppose I would be expected to pay for it and the shipping. No thank you.

I figured the CS reps would have no idea if the manufacturer changed the formula or started getting one or more ingredients from a different source which would surely have an impact on taste so I just gave up and mixed some Pure Vanilla Extract, Some Imitation Vanilla extract, and a bit of artificial Butter flavoring to smooth out that ultra sweet taste and mixed it in a small 10ml bottle I still had with some e-liquid I picked up at a tobacco store that was supposedly 11mg strength Marlboro flavored.

What I do is remove the white plastic piece in the cart, remove batting (or wick?) blot wick well with a kleenex to remove any old juice, take cotton swabs to clean out inside of white plastic batting holder cup and interier of outer carto piece, then put batting back in white holder. Then I drip 1-2 drops of my "special mix" on batting and ontop of that drip several drops of the DirectECig juice, and then top it off with 1 drop of my "special mix". Put Cart together again, drip one drop of DirectECig juice onto atomizer itself and begin vaping. It's not fantastic but for not knowing what I am doing it's pretty darned good and it tastes WAY better than either of these "Marlboro flavored" juices taste by themselves!

I have to admit, I was fairly proud of myself for coming up with this after carefully reading through this forum. After all, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade! LOL Can't wait to start REALLY experiementing with quality juices. I am a bit worried about the alcohol content in the Vanilla extract and some preservative or something in the imitation vanilla extract though. The good news is I am vaping MUCH more since I created my homemade concoction with what I could find at local stores. I even went looking for VG at Tractor Supply and they all looked at me like I was from the moon. LOL

Only drawback is not a whole lot of vape is produced and that is what I really want and need. However I can at least live with the taste for now!

This is a really important thing to know - especially since I'm a newbie and my main vapes at the moment are alternating between peppermint and menthol (mint). I quickly figured out that I personally didn't have a tobacco issue - I have a nicotine problem..lol. When I figured out I could "smoke" peppermint - boom sold!

I have 5 batts and have alternated them - as well as I've had both flavors on all of them. I have a healthy supply of pre-filled cartos on hand - but have already ordered juice and I'll be doing that soon too. I'm not sure if I would mind a hint of mint with anything flavor I ordered - which were mainly fruits and more excitedly - hot cinnamon - which I am now stalking the mailbox for!! The mad scientist in me has awakened!

Aside from the alcohol wash - will the menthol taste eventually go away if you ever quit using it? Just curious about that!

Yes, eventually the menthol will fade away. I am a flavor mixer, I choose flavors that can mix together rather then constantly cleaning atty's. Who's got the time for that? Cinnamon is one of my favorites! Try mixing the cinnamon with peppermint for cinnamint or with menthol for fire and ice. Yum! :)

I am so right there with you and have already thought of this!!! I think cinnamint/fire n ice could be an all day vape for me and probably where I will end up anyway!

As for other flavors I've tried - cherry and a cola but these were prefilled and I'd rate those a 4 of 10. But I ordered Hawaiian Pineapple, Fruit Stripe Illusion, Texas Watermelon, Mystic Cherry and Fresh Mint along with Hot Cinnamon and then took my free sample in Hot Cinnamon and I anticipate some 30ml orders just around the corner!! Based upon all the reviews I've read, I expect to be bursting with flavors!!

A really nice side affect however - well two: A: water intake has always been terrible but starting with 48 hours before my first vape - focused on water intake and have kept that up and have no intention of ever slacking on it again. B: along with all the water - my cravings have literally disappeared. I don't want a soda, I don't want chocolate. I still have a bit of a sweet craving - but it seems like all I want is fruit and lately if I take a few hits of the cherry and cola I have - these cravings go away too. Could I be so lucky as to find that sweet vapes cure cravings for stuff I really shouldnt have alot of anyway??!!!

Craziness!!!!
