Easy tip for batts

I often carry several charged V4L batts in a small zip-top case, with some cartos.

I was losing track of which batts were used up.

What I started doing was placing a rubber cart cap over the threads when it were charged, and then moving it to cover the led end when I was going to use it.

With the rubber cart cap over the led end, you can see your led, so that's an added bonus.

Just a little something than makes my day a little easier...

Good tip. Any ideas on how to keep track of CR123a batteries. A have a total of 6 cr123a batteries which I rotate on my new battery mod. I try to be careful of which ones need to be charged first. I don't want to over charge a freshly charged battery.

I keep mine on a shelf. If they're standing up they're charged, if they're laying down they're flat.

I have a little ziplock bag that the ones that need charged go in.

Ever heard of a Sharpie,,,just number them, so you can keep up with them and the charge order,,hehe

I put a small (sold for braces) rubberband on dead ones, remove it when I charge them, so no band, good to go, banded, dead.

Any ideas on how to keep track of CR123a batteries.

I bought battery cases from Battery Junction for $1.25 each. With protected batts you may have to trim the ribs inside the case just a bit.

Battery Case Holds 2 CR123A Batteries

I use labelmaker tape to number and identify them as pairs, for example: 12-A and 12-B.

Charged batteries go into the case with both positive ends to the left, labels up.
Partially discharged batteries are placed with labels up, but one batt's + end to the left, the other to the right.
Dead batts have the labels down.
