Hi,
It surely already has been done in the past, but didn't ear bout it...

I puted a video on youtube to show a simple and easy way to people who are bilding boxmod how to incorporate an on board battery charger to there mods.

You only have to do one or two minors modifications to your battery charger and mod.

Finding the + and - on the charger in easier doing a multimeter diode test ( the selection on you meter that bippp with you touch the two probes together)

(I don't know if it works on all charger due to conception issues)

Ether I don't recomand to charge a batterie on the track you chose to solder your wire on when your mod is charging because it would be like charging two batteries on the same track. For myself I used the left track to make my on board charger so if I'm charging my mod with the adapter I only use the right track to charge another battery. I don't know what it can do to the charger maybe it will just charge the two battery on the same track slower or maybe the charger will fail due to an over surge.

In general it's very convenient, I just plug the mod when I go to bed and just unplug it when I wake up... The only time I'll have to open the mod is when the battery will die to put a new one...

Note: In the beginning I say ''hi youtubers'' but I should have said Hi ecf members because I did the video especialy for ecf people...

Thanks

Alex

Great job on the charging port, as well as on the video. Thanks for taking the time to show it to us, buddy!
I had done something similar a while back. I made the mistake of ordering my first charger from China, so I had my completed 14500 boxmod with batteries but no charger!

I cracked open my original Joye510 charger (yes, cracked it open using a hammer; it's the only way to open one, as there are no screws, and, yes, I have done this before - with laptop chargers ;)), soldered 2 wires (red & black) to the output + and - and stuck the wire ends into my boxmod, pinching them in with the battery at their respective terminals.
Took quite a while to charge a 900mAh battery, since it's designed for a 180mAh, but it did work, and I finally got to use my boxmod!

Your English was great, BTW. I think your accent is awesome; you sound kinda like Georges "Rush" St-Pierre! (which, IMHO, is awesome in his own right, lol). ;) :D

Take care, Alex, and thanks again for sharing with us!

LoL pretty funny that I sound like GSP... héhé... You know I have his fighting skills too.

I'm happy if you loved my little tutorial...

Sometimes you just have to open the damn thing and use a little logic to solve the problem... it seems that people are afraid the open there tv, radios and computers just to take a look. Most of the time the trouble is simple and it can be solved with little knowledge but you have to open the damn thing first :)
