so I have been shopping around for my wife as she would like to start vaping also. she wants a simple set up for now consisting of a ego battery (900mah) and a kanger evod and some coil heads seeing as how we have a few chargers laying around as back ups for my ego batterys. so I have been looking for the best deal and found a 900 mah ego-t battery on ebay for $12 after shipping and a evod for $5. should I trust ebay? or should I stick to somewhere like say discountvapers? or do you recommend any other great places.

It depends on the seller, look at their feedback rating, and check how long they have been on Ebay.
In 12 plus years and I have made a lot or purchases, I only had three issues with sellers on Ebay....
I just purchased some AW 18650 IMR batteries, no problems...

One thing is for sure, in this day and age our options are only limited to the amount of time we want to spend shopping around. EBay is always in my rotation of places to check when price comparing. Many ship free, and as long as the seller is established with good feedback I have no problem using them. You mention DV, I have had great service and fast shipping there, some super deals too.

FastTech seems to be a place to pick things up too,that are less expensive, but the shipping is long 10 -12 days or so.
with yet another holiday coming up in China in October, and things ALREADY backed up OVER ten days,,,,,,,I don't think I'd recommend Fasttech NOW,,,,I'm on waiting day 22 after ordering.

I buy and sell on eBay quite a bit. I have only had 2 issues with sellers. I've been burned more as a seller than a buyer. eBay is definitely structured to protect the buyer. I recently bought an ego kit and it was fantastic.
I agree, I have never been burned, had issues but sellers were always willing to work with me, and I have sold a ton, even internationally and really can't say anything bad about Ebay, kinda like Amazon, Ebay, then everyone else as far as looking for deals and e-shopping.
If you are careful, you should be fine. Ebay can be like a flea market in a scary part of town or a trip to Walmart, depends on the seller rating (watch the dates to be sure they are spamming positives)
You will likely end up with clones bought from FastTech, HealthCabin or PriceAngels.
For the $5 or $6 more you'll pay stick with Discount Vapors. If time is not an issue get it at FastTech but be prepared to wait.
It is against ebay's tobacco policy to sell ecig related items, so if you do have a problem with a transaction you have no recourse.

I've used eBay for years. Just read the description closely and check the seller's feedback rating. So far, so good.
