I just purchased several things from ebay. I will let you know how it goes for me. I always make sure to check the seller's feedback before I commit to buying anything. And like Jarbs said....you have buyer protection from ebay if something goes poorly.

Good luck.
all of my vapemail today was from ebay! plus, you have the buyer's protection from paypal as well. double protection!

I don't know how a dispute would go on ebay as 'technically' they can't be sold. Although they are. In the past, accounts have been closed. But they seem more lax recently.

Glad you had a good experience!

it could be that sellers are putting disclaimers and what not in their ads or ebay educated themselves and have been too lazy to remove that part of their tos.

I know they can't sell anything that contains nicotine, but I believe anything else related to vaping can be sold.

i think ebay is much less risky than a random vendor with their own website. with ebay and paypal, if you don't get your order, you absolutely get your money back.

The problem with buying "ecig" merchandice on eBay and using PayPal is if you file a complaint you don't get your money back and risk having yours and the sellers accounts banned because Paypal does not permit buying/selling ecig products with their service.

I don't know which side of the fence eBay sits on on the subject.

I still buy merchandise from ebay time to time. I just try to be careful who I buy from and don't do BIG $ orders.

Paypal was warned by the FDA not to allow the sale of e-cigarette products. In the past, when people opened a dispute and e-cigs were mentioned, accounts were closed. US suppliers can't use Paypal, only intl. suppliers can.

Not saying not to buy from there and I hope you have a good experience. If you do have an issue and need to file a dispute, don't mention anything vape related.

Yeah, god forbid you have an issue but if you do, generalize your purchase as "health care products" "battery case" etc. Do not mention vaping/ecig products.

PayPal offers a debit card. It's a Master Card. When you use it funds from your paypal account are withdrawn just as if you were using your paypal account. But technically it's a Master Card purchase, not a paypal purchase, so you get around any problems you might have with PayPal regarding purchasing e-cig products. If you have a paypal account you should totally get their debit card. It's free to get and is very handy as you can use your paypal everywhere, even where paypal isn't accepted.

Didn't ebay and pp join up as one company not too long ago. Or maybe just reached some sort of agreement? When on ebay, I was asked if I wanted to link my two accounts, but I did not and did not want to run the risk of putting both accts in jeopardy.

:)

Yea, they're the same company. Peter Thiel, one of the founders of Paypal is heavily invested in one of the e-cig companies. Perhaps that's why they're easing up? :D
