Just check the sale's (the person who is doing the selling) ratings from other customers who bought their products and check to see what else they are selling because if they are selling a lot of other vaping products, they'll know their stuff and are reliable. I have bought all my stuff off of ebay especially all of my protanks, however, I do not know all of the people I bought off of by heart. As I have not gone back to the same person I bought off of because they will change their prices. I once bought a PT3 from a NYC vape shop for $10 then to only see it again another day for $18, from the same NYC Vape shop. Just do your research and if the product you bought isn't as described you can always contact ebay and open a case against them to get your money back, which I have done before, but for not anything vape related; just for other products I bought in the past. Lastly, don't buy on the whim either, look around for good prices too. Sometimes you can find a good deal compared to the one that is a little more expensive. The variety on ebay is huge, they only thing I have a hard time finding is a decent no generic Evod 1100 battery thus far. Good Luck! ;)

Use caution with buying off Ebay, like others have stated, Ebay owns PayPal, neither one of these companies appear to technically allow the sale of vaping supplies. So a dispute just may not end well, for either/both parties.

Others have had success with some vendors listed in this thread, but you really need to be careful who you buy from, some vendors are a little less than forthcoming about selling clones and knockoffs. This applies to non Ebay vendors as well.

Terms like Ego, Viva Nova, Twist, at one time referred to a specific item made by a specific company, now they are used generically to describe knockoffs made by many companies cashing in on the originals success. The quality of clones and knockoffs can vary widely.

I think if a transaction goes as it should- smooth purchase, get what you ordered in a timely manner and it works- you're fine. What some of us are concerned about his if the transaction doesn't go as it should. In the past, there were problems for people. I really hope that doesn't happen to anyone and I love seeing vaping supplies on ebay.

I'd also ask the seller if the items you're purchasing are insured. A member posted that they never received their package, it wasn't insured and they were out of luck.

This was how it all began in relation to PP and Ebay...

"E Cigarette Users Send Resounding Backlash For Paypal Stunt By Ash
PayPal, ASH and the FDA may have awakened a sleeping giant in the American population with corruption and political favors
Published on August 12, 2009

ASH recently put out a press release stating that they had warned PayPal that they could be held criminally liable for processing payments for E Cigarette retailers in an attempt to shut down online retailers from selling their goods online, but the public reaction may not be what ASH expected and may have just solidified the resolve of e cigarette supporters to keep them on the market.
Due to the pressure by these special interest groups, PayPal has now not only frozen the money in the accounts of these retailers, but made sure no other transactions can be completed by the retailers that use PayPal as their merchant system, putting many online retailers in a financial crunch.
The backlash has begun as message boards, and forums have lit up with angry members and postings concerning the act's of ASH and PayPals decision to cave to pressures from the special interest groups. On several online forums, dozens of users have stated that they are canceling their PayPal accounts and vow to never use them again as a payment processor online.
There has also been speculation that PayPal has only targeted online retailers that sell e liquid while turning a blind eye to the actual e cigarettes, but the reports of retailers is growing by the day that are on the PayPal banned list, and some do not sell e liquid.
There have also been several discussions online and in comments of other news releases of the e cigarette users filing suit against Ash and Paypal for the actions and possibly forcing once tobacco free users back to tobacco products.
It seems that the general population is not buying the political tactics of the FDA, ASH and PayPal, but they are buying and supporting e cigarettes, the users and suppliers like e cigarettes national that was not a PayPal user."
Link below is dead but posted anyways.

FWIW I bought a mod on EBay.ca a couple months ago, from someone with a pretty good decent rating, but the item never arrived and the seller didn't respond to any of my emails.

I had paid with PP, and I got my money back within weeks of starting a dispute. I know PP protection isn't bomb-proof, but it's something.

However, after reading the above post by Vapoor about PP freezing accounts of E-Cig vendors, I'm definitely considering cancelling my PP account (that should pretty much bring PP right to its knees :D). Anyone heard of any sort of online campaign related to this stuff, petition or otherwise?

Glad you got your dough back. Realize the larger Ecig players are quite happy to sit back and watch the smaller independent Vendors get squeezed. ASH, in it's day under diff leadership, was the Lion within the ANTZ group. Strange thing is the ASH U.K. affiliate is in support of the Ecig BUT also believes in regulation: Welcome | Action on Smoking and Health

Wow, this is creepy. Came on the board to share receiving my new itaste MVP2 which I purchased from ebay and specifically from Vapingtown. The first thread on here is what? LOL. So, I ordered a couple of days ago, great price, got an email that day that it was shipped. I got it today which is one day earlier than the "expected" delivery day listed on the site. The package was pristine, sealed, contained everything it said and bonus, he included a little car/usb charger along with the package. The device is simply amazing. If my budget permitted, honestly if I hadn't gone nuts ordering tons of juice, I would get another one right away. I just popped the T3s I had on my c-twist on it to try it, and it was night and day. Huge smoke, great flavor. Can a battery make this much of a difference, apparently so. In any case, I would not worry about this seller, though I would definitely check feedback, etc. for any other ebay purchases

MVP's are great! I got one when they first came out. Stopped working for a bit and I fooled with it and it's working good as new. Mine is over a year old. Glad you like it!

I plan on using ebay for my next purchase. Vapingtown does has a good reputation btw.

I don't think anyone is disputing that. Some of us that remember when they stopped allowing ecig purchases (I'm sure by your date you do too) were wondering what would happen in the case of a dispute. We do know for a fact that people had issues in the past. It happened here.

Good transactions aren't the problem. Everyone that knows the history was wondering what would happen in the event of an issue and dispute. Someone did say they had a dispute and Paypal honored it. That's good news.

I just don't want to see any member here lose money and don't feel comfortable telling anyone it's fine to use ebay if they may run into problems in the event of a bad transaction.

Maybe they've changed their policy, but looking at their website they don't seem to have made any changes.

I know I have read that buying stuff on eBay is risky but was just wondering if anyone had any vendors on eBay they have used and trust? Was looking at an iTaste MVP 2.0 from vapingtown2013 and it seems like they have lots of good reviews. Was wondering if anyone on here has used them or heard anything about them? Thanks :)
OP: Check out the thread. Plenty of positive reviews about what your asking.
