Not sure what the following abbreviations mean. I've seen TW before and think it may be a company?? I'm not at all sure what NG is but I found it where someone else was asking what it means so I can't even include the context where it was used.
TW
NG

NG = No Good
NFG = Adult version of above

12 full pages without the answer for this one... amazing to me!

Its a measure of electical resistance
What does OHM mean (in the context of an EGO atomizer)... I started browsing a new supplier and I noticed that they offer various atomizers with differing "OHM's" (ie. 1.5ohm, 2.5ohm). Any help info regarding this would be greatly appreciated :)

Ahh Thank you .

So I'm assuming a higher OHM is better considering it costs more?

Nope, the Ohm rating doesn't mean one is better than another. In a nutshell (and ignoring all the multitude of factors!), the lower the rating the warmer the vape (though possibly the less flavor as well as more vapor).

With a 3.7 volt battery I find a lower Ohm rating (1.5-1.8) gives a more analog vape. Using 2 batteries at 7.4volts I'd use a high resistance, like 2.5-3.0 Ohm.

Wattage or Power = voltage squared divided by resistance
So as an example:
6.845 Watts = 3.7volts/2.0Ohms

Great! Thank you for clarifying

Sorry if any one all ready asked this but, I was seeking info on wiring for my DIY atti and I came across this "HD Vapor". One forum member asked another if he/she was an HD Vapor. What does mean?

"HD" in this context might just mean "heavy duty".

And please allow me to pick a nit: to me, a person vaping is a "vaper" who is enjoying "vapor".

And to contribute more directly to this (very good) thread: how about:

"WTA" (as opposed to "WTF"), or "Whole Tobacco Alkaloids".

From Whole Tobacco Alkaloid Eliquid WTA Aroma Ejuice

"What is Whole Tobacco Alkaloids e-liquid (WTA)?

WTA contains minor tobacco alkaloids along with nicotine in the form of a traditional e-liquid. The process used to purify nicotine from tobacco for traditional E-juice is rather specific in that it isolates the nicotine with very few traces of other tobacco alkaloids. The WTA extraction method includes these other alkaloids.

Why is WTA being produced?

Some vapers find that substituting e-cigarettes for smoking is not an equivalent experience. They fail to feel the same physiological effects and don’t reach the same satiation levels. For some, this makes it harder to transition to e-cigarettes or to refrain from smoking. The primary purpose of WTA is to provide the “missing satisfaction”, thus helping those struggling with cigarette cravings while vaping.

Is WTA addictive?

Due to the additional alkaloids present, WTA liquid may be more addictive than an eliquid
containing only nicotine. Research generally focuses on the addictive nature of nicotine, so
a definite conclusion is difficult to reach. Certainly with WTA's ability to provide greater
satisfaction than an e-liquid containing only nicotine, it is possible that one may develop a
psychological, if not a physiological, dependence on the substance that provides that
satisfaction".

I have read that the addictiveness of nicotine is increased when it is accomanied by MAOI's (monoamine oxidase inhibitors), which are abundantly present in tobacco. I don't know it for a fact, but I suspect that WTA contains MAOI's.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.

808, 510, thread, bridged atty, unbridged atty, bottom feeder, tank, polyfill, single coil, dual coil, multimeter, vv/variable voltage, wick...that's all I can think of for now. I know that would have helped me out a lot when I first started. If I repeated something you already had on here I'm sorry!
